The Art & Culture Society at IMSciences recently held a thought-provoking painting and sketching competition on the theme of Anti-Corruption, allowing students to creatively express the impact of corruption on society. With impressive participation across departments, each artwork conveyed powerful messages of integrity, accountability, and the urgent need for a corruption-free future.

Ms. Amna Kakakhel, a 5th-semester BS English student, won first place for her compelling piece depicting the effects of corruption on justice. This initiative highlighted students' artistic talents and promoted social responsibility, fostering awareness within the IMSciences community.

Business Fest 2025 Orientation was held at IMSciences on October 18, 2024. Dr. Ali Abdullah, President of the Fest, welcomed participants, emphasizing its role in fostering entrepreneurship. Dr. Qazi Waheed uz Zaman from the BIC spoke on innovation’s role in today’s economy, while Asad Ashfaq, Head of Marketing, shared insights on crafting effective marketing strategies and criteria for this years Fest. IMSciences Alumni Ms. Ramsha and Mr. Waqar Paracha also shared their success stories. Students left inspired and ready to bring their unique ideas to the upcoming Business Fest!

The Career Development Center (CDC) IMSciences organized a one-day session on “Growth Mindset” on October 14, 2024. Mr. Usman Sharif, a seasoned Tech CEO and Life Skills Trainer, was invited as the guest speaker. With over 17 years of experience in IT and a strong background in Islamic Education, Mr. Usman is the co-founder of Wisdom Explorers and the founder of Techvent Global.

The Career Development Center (CDC) IMSciences, in collaboration with the British Council Pakistan, organized a Mock IELTS Trial. Over 100 students participated in the Listening, Writing, and Reading exams conducted by British Council officials.

Marketing Students of Institute of Management Sciences Peshawar visited DHA Peshawar

The students of the Institute of Management Sciences Peshawar visited DHA Peshawar on 3 Oct 2024. DHA Peshawar officials briefed the students about various initiatives and facilities of DHA Peshawar. They toured key locations, including the Roots Millennium Future World School, Innovista Khyber Chapter coworking space and Adventure Arena park.

This visit was organized as an initiative by DHA Peshawar for future collaboration with IM Sciences and provided valuable insights into the community and offerings of DHA Peshawar.

The Blood Donation Camp organized on October 2nd, 2024, by the Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences) Peshawar in collaboration with the Alkhidmat Thalassemia Blood Donation Center was a remarkable success. Led by Dr. Owais M***i, head of the IMS Health and Wellness Club, and with support from society members, the event saw an impressive turnout. The team from Alkhidmat, sent by Dr. Naveed Sharif (HOD) suported by Mr. Nisar and his team worked seamlessly with the IMSciences community.

In a single day, the students collected an outstanding 91 blood bags, a testament to their dedication to humanitarian causes and community service. Each donor will be awarded a certificate of recognition and undergo vital health screenings, including tests for Hepatitis B and C (HBV, HCV), HIV, syphilis (VDRL), malaria (MP), and blood group typing. This initiative not only contributed to saving lives but also raised health awareness among the participants.

The Institute of Management Sciences hosted an informative session for Hospitality and Tourism students, featuring Mr. Majid Zulfiqar. He shared his insights and experiences from his career in the tourism industry, offering valuable knowledge and inspiration for our students. This session highlighted the importance of practical insights in shaping the future of our students in the tourism sector.
