We are thrilled to announce that Buitems has again shown its marvellous performance, by being the part of An Urdu declamation organized by National accountability Bureau (NAB), on 7 November, where our talented and inspirational student Mahzaib Baloch got the first position, and made us proud, because of her thrilling performance which shocked the judges along with the audience. Buitems is delighted to have her as its student and speaker, who have always remained the symbol of inspiration and motivation for the Buitems family.

Few glimpse of orientation 2o23 with BDC

"If you can speak, you can influence. If you can influence, you can change lives." Needless to say, speaking has always remained a weapon for change. Yet, most of the people cannot speak either due to fear of the audience, or lack of confidence. Therefore, Buitems Debating Club (BDC) is thrilled to announce that it is organising a workshop under the mentorship of Zahoor Ahmed, who is an alumni Buitems and a senior debater also a National Award winner, on 2nd November, at 2:00 pm in the purple hall. The workshop mainly deals with the Parliamentary debate, which aims to flourish the confidence of the speakers and pave a way for them so that they can come forward and speak up for brining a positive change.

A declamation competition titled "The black day of Kashmir" was organized by Youth Forum Kashmir, on 27 October, in Quetta press club. Team BUITEMS debating club (BDC) participated in it with great zeal in both, English and Urdu categories. The team BDC, as always, amazed the audience and the judges with its enthusiastic performance. We are thrilled to announce that our team got positions and took the name of BDC to further heights. In English category, Ali got 2nd position, and Fizza Mehak Batool achieved 3rd position. Similarly, in urdu category, Arisha aimon got 1st position, and Qadeer got 3rd position. The success of our team made it evident that it is BDC which has been shining and will shine, like a star, by each step it takes.

A one-day OIC Summit Simulation Conference was organized by the Organisation of Islamic Youth (OIY) and Honor Debating Society (HDS) at Ali Zaheer Conference Hall, Tanzeem Nasl-e- Nau Hazara Mughul, on 30th September, 2023. The conference was chaired by the President of Organisation of Islamic Youth Mr. Hammad Kakar assisted by Co-Chair the President of Honor Debating Society Mr. Muhammad Asif Shahyan.
Team BDC has participated in the event with 7 delegates, who were Hafeez was representing Malaysia. Fizza Mehak Batool as the delegate of Iran. Sajid as the representative of UAE. Asal was representing Oman. Qahir was representing Afghanistan. Haleem was representing Indonesia and Maqbool was representing Turkmenistan.
No doubt, the team BDC played well as always and also took the name of BDC to heights. The conference was a great opportunity to show, for the team, their knowledge as well as persuasion power through Their speaking skills. The conference ended with the certificate distribution among the participants and also the guests and the organizers of the event appreciated the participants mainly the BDC team for their great participation.

BDC conducted a virtual Asian parliamentary-style debate competition, around 50 debaters competed for the title. We congratulate the winners and runners ups.
BDC is keen to continue its series of healthy activities.
