Held meeting with HUBCO and Attock senior management regarding Workers Welfare Fund.

Chairperson Balochistan Revenue Authority, along with the team, conducted a successful meeting with Lasbella Chamber of Commerce. All companies committed to register by Jan 30 for Withholding Agents. Workers Welfare Funds payments due towards Balochistan will also be paid within due time. Encouragingly, 36 out of 171 companies have already registered as Withholding Agents.

We finalised the mechanism for merit based recruitment process in collaboration with IBA for all vacant posts of BRA. Chairperson BRA Passand Buledi signed an agreement between BRA and Pakistan Post on dispatching official communication from the BRA to the taxpayers across Balochistan. This partnership will help the BRA reach across the scattered population of Balochistan effectively.

Chairman BRA Passand Khan Buledi chaired a review meeting earlier today for the Information Technology based interventions at the Balochistan Revenue Authority supported by the Governance and Policy Project for Balochistan. He gave instructions to use IT smartly for the ease of Balochistan’s citizenry and businesses resulting into more revenue collection for the province.
