Viqar–un- Nisa Noon Girls Higher Secondary Institute, named after its founder Lady Viqar-un-Nisa Noon has been imparting and spreading education for more than five decades since its establishment on 01 March, 1956. It is primarily a girls institution spreading over a vast area of 78 kanals with all types of academic facilities. Currently, the school is holding classes from Play Group up to class X
Competitions like the IKSC ignite students' interest in Science, promote critical thinking & problem solving skills, foster healthy competition and encourages life - long learning.
These contests inspire students to explore Science beyond the classroom.
Our School organized the International Kangaroo Science Contest, and our students were very excited about it.
They worked hard to get ready for the contest and showed their enthusiasm on the Competition Day.
Our teachers played a big role in helping them prepare for the contest.

Viqar un Nisa Noon celebrated the outstanding achievements of its students at the 16th International Kangaroo Science Contest, 2023! The 10 medals, including 1 gold and 9 bronze, reflect the hard work and commitment of the students.
To further highlight their excellence, the participants also received a total of 20 One-star badges, 19 Two-star badges, and 7 Three-star badges.Overall about 150 certificates were distributed. This diversity in achievements showcases the well-rounded talent within the school.
The "DISTINGUISHED EDUCATIONIST" award bestowed by IKSC upon Mrs. Saman Khawar Abdullah, the honorable principal, is a testament to her exceptional guidance and leadership.
Additionally, the "MERCURY AWARD" for the science coordinators, along with a cash prize of 68,000 PKR was distributed among the participant teaching staff and management to appreciate their unwavering dedication, which played a pivotal role in the success of the students. Overall, the achievements and recognition received by VIQAR UN NISA NOON's students and staff demonstrate a commitment to excellence and inspire everyone associated with the school.

Pakistan Learning Festival (PLF) 2023:
Today, the students of O' Level Section visited the Pakistan Learning Festival arranged at Pak China Centre. The mega event, arranged by the Federal Ministry of Education and Technical Training, included book fairs, story telling corners, puppet shows and numerous interactive learning sessions based on the theme: “Today’s Readers, Tomorrow’s Learners”.
For VNS students and the teachers, the festival was a great opportunity where a unique blend of knowledge,exposure, awareness and fun was made available.
A Trip to Ayub Park:
VNS conducted an exciting and recreational trip for the students of Class Nursery , I and II on 23rd November, 2023.
Students saw different wild animals and learnt a lot. It was a fun filled day for the students of the Memorial Section.

Our little explorers embarked on an exciting educational trip to Ayub Park Zoo . 🚌👧🧒 From giggles to awe, every moment was filled with joy and learning as they encountered fascinating wildlife.
Learning came to life as our students discovered the wonders of the animal kingdom.
Every child is a different kind of flower that altogether make this world a beautiful garden.
Universal Children's Day is celebrated with vigour and enthusiasm by the children and teachers of VNS Preschool on 20 November,2023.
The teachers made the occasion memorable for children by arranging different outdoor activities.It was a fun-filled day for the students.
VNS Preschool students dedicate the Children's Day to the Palestinian children .They made cards,
banners and held a special prayer for them.
On 4th November 2023, Viqar un Nisa Noon Institute organized its Annual Sports Day in the spacious playground of the school. The Chairman Governing Body, Mr Ikram Chauhdhary and Prof. Mrs Tahira Ikram, the chief guests, inaugurated the auspicious event by releasing the balloons in the air. The magnificent March Past was a display of discipline, harmony and teamwork. Students showed phenomenal performances in Aerobics, Hola hoops, PT display, Karate and variety of races. The four Houses of the school cheered for their respective members with full enthusiasm. Students were awarded with trophies and certificates. The events arranged for parents, teachers and school staff remained a source of great fun and delight for all.
In recognition of the efforts of all, a holiday on 10 Nov. 2023 was graciously announced by Mr lkram Chaudhary.
A two day boot camp training was held at VNS on 30th and 31st October, 2023. The session was a source of inspiration and empowerment among the students of VNS, encouraging them to passionately pursue their dreams through the avenues of digital transformation, innovative solutions and self discovery.
This training session marked the inception of a remarkable collaboration between the self financed initiative of Mr. Mansoor Malik, Governing Board Member VNS & CEO Kamyab Pakistan, and Ms. Rabia Armaghan, Founder of E.Educators, working diligently to establish Pakistan's very first Girls Khushhali Centre at VNS. Ms.Rabia Armaghan conducted the session ; her inspirational words not only motivated but also helped the students to identify their untapped potential and navigate the ever evolving landscape of the tech world.
Global Hand washing Day.
Global Hand washing Day is a global advocacy day dedicated to increasing awareness about the importance of hand hygiene, especially through hand washing with soup.
VNS Preschool kids celebrated Global Hand washing Day enthusiastically under the supervision of their teachers who guided them on the importance of hand washing regularly throughout the day to keep the germs away.
"And if you face all of this death and indifference and you keep your humanity, your love and your dignity, you refuse to surrender to their terror, their injustice, their atrocities and if you live that horror every second of your life, only then can you know the courage that is PALESTINE."
Students of VNS expressed their solidarity with the Palestinians through a peaceful protest, on 20th, October, 2023. This protest was to highlight the concerns of the student community against the human rights violations in Palestine. These pictures are glimpse of the love, affection and concern our students displayed.
Twin City Maritime Art Contest Prize distribution ceremony was held at Bahria College, Islamabad.
Art appreciation helps open up the mindset of the people, by listening to different perspectives & views as well as interpretations of the art , it encourages thoughtful conversation and the understanding that there is more than one approach to everything.

Today, an Investiture and Oath Taking Ceremony of Student Council 2023 -24 was held at VNS. Every year, VNS prepares young students to don the mantle of leadership and responsibility through democratic voting system.For VNS, Investiture Ceremony is not just about providing titles, but about conferring responsibilities to the students. The selected students were invested with their respective badges and sashes for the positions of Head Girl, Deputy Head Girl, School Captain, Vice Captain, Presidents and Captains of Clubs, Societies,Houses, and Student Council Members. The newly elected council pledged to carry out their responsibilities with complete devotion to render dignity and grandeur to the institute.

ربیع الاول کے بابرکت مہینے میں تقریبات بسلسلہ جشن آمد رسولﷺ وقارالنساء نون گرلز ہاءیر سیکنڈری اسکول میں منعقد کی گیٔں۔ . . . . . ۱۸ ربیع الاول بتاریخ ۵ اکتوبر بروز جمعرات سکول آڈیٹوریم میں نعتیہ مقابلے کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ تقریب کی مہمان خصوصی پرنسپل سمن عبداللہ صاحبہ تھیں۔ بچوں نے نہایت عقیدت کے ساتھ نہ صرف نعتیں پڑھیں بلکہ خوبصورت ترنم اور آوازوں کے ساتھ مقابلہ بھی خوب کیا۔ ۱۹ ربیع الاول بتاریخ ۶ اکتوبر بروز جمعہ محفل میلاد کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ نعتیہ مقابلے میں جیتنے والی طالبات نے اس محفل میلاد میں نعتیہ کلام پیش کیا ۔ نہایت جوش و خروش سے طالبات نے نذرانہ عقیدت پیش کیا۔نعت کے بعددرود و سلام کا نذرانہ آڈیٹوریم میں موجود تمام طالبات اور اساتذہ نے مل کر پیش کیا جس سے اک الگ سماں بندھ گیا ۔ اس کے بعد مس رشیدہ نے نہایت ادب اور خشوع و خضوع سے دعا کی۔خاص طور سےعالم اسلام، پاکستان اور سکول کی ترقی کے لیے خصوصی دعائیں کی گیٔں۔

Teachers are given different titles like educators, mentors, instructors and spiritual parents etc. No matter what they are called, we can all agree that they truly have a gift for influencing lives inside and outside of their classrooms. Teachers are the awe-inspiring, rock stars of education. A very colorful and festive “Teacher’s Day” was celebrated at VNS today. The zealous Viqarians showed how passionately they love and respect their teachers, by paying tributes in the form of poems, speeches and skits etc. The Principal, Ma’am Saman Abdullah, praised and acknowledged the efforts of all the teachers.
“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” – Malcolm X. Students of O level IV, had the opportunity to attend the “Beaconhouse National College Fair, 2023”. It served to be a conducive prospect to learn about what their academic future holds for them. They were thrilled to be provided with a platform where they could interact with the representatives of prestigious universities from all over the world. They got the guidance about which programs to choose and look forward to a bright, unlimited potential, the versatile academic future holds. Surely, wise are those who prepare for the future in their present!!
The Rainbow Art Contest held in VNS Pre and Primary Sections , was a vibrant celebration of creativity. Enthusiastic young artists showcased their talents through a dazzling array of colorful artwork , reflecting the joy and imagination of childhood. We wish them good luck.
The 16th INTERNATIONAL KANGAROO SCIENCE CONTEST was held today at VIQAR UN NISA NOON GIRLS HIGHER SECONDARY INSTITUTE, RAWALPINDI.
Like every year, the students of VNS participated in this academically wide-ranging exercise with great enthusiasm. This contest was the most appropriate activity for exposing our students to PROFESSIONAL / INTERNATIONAL TESTING FORMATS and teaching them how DISCIPLINE, INTEGRITY, OBJECTIVE LEARNING and HARD WORK must go hand in hand in order to achieve success.
The students had a smooth examination experience, all thanks to the honourable principal Mrs. Samman K. Abdullah, our faculty of science and the helping staff.

The “Pakistan Diary” theme aims to cultivate patriotism in young children.
Through activities like singing, quizzes and commemorating significant national events, preschoolers learn to cherish their country’s heritage and values.
Puppets are a good way to deliver information to the students and help them retain.Pakistan National Council of the Arts conducted a very interesting Puppet show today at VNS.

Our future Madame Curies, enthusiastically participated in displaying some wonderful science projects.
