Work TRC in Poland
(Temporary Residence Card)

If a foreigner plans to stay in Poland for more than the period of his work visa validation, he/she can apply for TRC which will be issued for a maximum of 3 years. It will allow you to stay legal, leave the territory of Poland and come back during the time when your TRC valid without applying for new visas.

Top list of questions:

1.Can I get my TRC without coming to Poland?
Answer:- NO. You can only apply for your TRC when you arrive in Poland (on a work visa).

2. Can I apply for TRC when I am not working anywhere?
Answer: - Technically you can apply, but you will get rejection. You need to be employed.

3. After I get my TRC in case I resign from the job, will my TRC still be valid?
Answer: - NO. You have to inform the government office that you resigned from the job in 30 days. After that you need to submit an application for a new TRC.

Getting a TRC is a complicated process for foreigners who just arrived in Poland because of the language barrier, lack of knowledge of Polish Law and especially listening to advice from "friends" who are already in Poland, following the wrong example.
