Bardzo mi miło znaleźć się w gronie osób, którym przyznano stypendium Marszałka Województwa Wielkopolskiego w dziedzinie kultury na autorski projekt artystyczny.
44 stypendystów i 12 nagrodzonych w dziedzinie kultury odebrało w poniedziałek 18 marca
2024 dyplomy. Wręczyli je Marszałek Województwa Wielkopolskiego Marek Woźniak wraz z
Przewodniczącą Komisji Kultury Sejmiku Województwa Wielkopolskiego Ewą Panowicz.
Uroczysta gala odbyła się w poznańskim Teatrze Wielkim.
Obecnie jestem studentką w Katedry Ceramiki w tym roku realizuję pracę magisterską pod kierunkiem prof. Przemysława Lasaka.

Wrocławska artystka Natalia Komorowska podczas wydarzenia pokaże na żywo, jak tworzy się szklana biżuteria w ogniu palnika. Kształtując na gorąco masę szkła, nawet w niewielkiej ilości trzeba wykazać się niezwykłym skupieniem oraz umiejętnościami manualnymi tak, aby powstała zaprojektowana forma. Podczas pokazu będzie można przyjrzeć się temu procesowi, od stapiania i mieszania ze sobą kolorów, po tworzenie misternych wzorów na koralach. Asystować w pokazie będzie Natalia Dzidowska, studentka Akademii Sztuk Pięknych we Wrocławiu.

We are delighted to announce the screening of "Obsession 2020" by Natalia Komorowska.
Natalia’s work is based on relationships and patterns of human activities, which can predict behaviour and evoke particular feelings. She examines the concept of being ‘thrilled’. For some people it is like a drug, the act of risk taking is appealing, but with the reassurance we can avoid danger without any consequences. The artist refers to the internal need to break the rules in order to feel the thrill of excitement, and the lack of control over what will happen. This is particularly important in today’s society, where we rarely allow ourselves such freedom. The film work is based on the balance between the tension that gives us momentary control over feelings that are about to explode.
Launching on Friday July 3rd and continues until July 17th. All the screenings are free by visiting the North Lands Creative website. www.northlandscreative.co.uk

I was born in the capital of Poland - Warsaw, but raised in the Jeleniogórska Valley, near Szklarska Poręba, these are the areas of the Karkonosze and the Jizera Mountains in a region with rich glass traditions. Since the Middle Ages, these mountains have been a place of intense exploration by seekers of precious stones and minerals. However, the region's greatest treasure was rock crystal, similar to diamonds and called "petrified ice".Over the centuries, this natural raw material developed around the Szklarska Poręba glass industry, and the skills of glaziers, whose products went to the royal tables. The history of Glassmaking has shaped my view of the world and art that surrounds me, which is why my activities led me to the Art High School Stanisław Wyspiański with a specialization - artistic glass, then to the Academy of Fine Arts. Eugeniusz Geppert in Wrocław (2015-2020) and the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava in (2019).
I have been working in this material for over 10 years, and I still feel the desire to expand knowledge and skills on this subject. Glass smelting is the most fascinating process I have learned in the course of my studies, taking numerous trips and apprenticeships to glass factories (Martin Stefanek Studio, "Julia" Crystal Glassworks in Szklarska Poręba or Novosad & Son Glass Factory) where I had the opportunity to work and learn from outstanding personalities artistic, both in Poland and abroad.
I create a personal brand combining artistic activities with a design using mix-media. I am particularly interested in experiencing the moment and emotions in contact with nature, which allow me to open myself to self-awareness. The vibrations that surround us deserve attention, which is why I am looking for ecological solutions in my artistic and design activities. I am currently preparing to defend my master's thesis at the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław in July 2020. It will be the result of my research on Awakening, in the artistic part in the form of performance - which will be a reflective image of my experiences, in the utilitarian part I will look for the possibility of processing bottles after wine in a utility set for shopping in the Zero Waste idea.
I am also interested in education and creating new opportunities for young artists like me by associating and learning together and sharing experience. In the first year of undergraduate studies, I initiated the creation of the Students' Scientific Circle of the Glass Department - "Level 2", where until 2019 I was the chairman of the assembly where I had the opportunity to organize exhibitions and workshops for a group of students. I am currently developing my path at the Union of Glass Artists, reactivating the activities of the association based at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, at the same time I am opening my own studio in my hometown - Jelenia Góra near the Karkonosze Museum famous for the best collections of Polish Glass.
