A Força Aérea lamenta profundamente comunicar a existência de uma vítima mortal de nacionalidade espanhola, decorrente de um acidente aquando de uma demonstração aérea da patrulha ibérica YAKSTARS – constituída por pilotos de nacionalidade portuguesa e espanhola –, ocorrido pelas 16h05, no festival aéreo Beja AirShow, na Base Aérea N.º 11, em Beja.

É com enorme sentimento de pesar e de consternação que a Força Aérea presta as maiores condolências à família, amigos e conhecidos, estando profundamente solidária nesta hora de perda.

Face à ocorrência do acidente, o evento foi imediatamente terminado.
