CLEAN UP ACTION AT PRAIA DA DOURO MARINA | 8th May

In order to reduce its environmental impact, the 2021 Porto Finn Gold Cup partnered with Sailors For the Sea Portugal.

Tomorrow, after the regattas, we will organize a beach clean up directionned to whomever wants to participate. Gloves and trash bags will be distributed to the participants.

It is of great importance for us to raise awareness towards sustainability and protection of life below water. You may have noticed that the marina is not 100% clean - many times we can see small trash laying around, such as cigarette butts and napkins. This is what we want to change, not just by removing it today, but by creating a massive impact on the marina's clients, workers, and other people around. It is not only the action of cleaning that counts, but the involvement and collaboration towards the bigger picture - saving and protecting the marine ecosystem.

Help us do that by participating on this action. Just by picking up one piece of litter from the floor you can be changing hundreds of minds.
