Bucharest Street Art Festival

An here are the pics of the 2 infamous combos we did at the .ro shop at Ion Câmpineanu 24.

Throwback to one of the highlights of the festival, the urban exhibition where we invited each artist involved in the event to submit 1 piece of work.

It turned out to be a great idea ( we think!) to bring together in front of our audience established artists next to emerging ones.

Best thing about these is that they are there to stay 😁

.blood.stained.hand does that type of Street Art that you don't see elsewhere in Bucharest. Through provocative humanlike installations he invites people to discuss topics like drugs, corruption, politics, gambling or other social issues.

The installation called ,, Summersive Thoughts " represents a deep dive into the inner universe of an artist , where thoughts and emotions are translated into captivating visual forms. This is more than just an artistic expression. It's an emotional journey into the labyrinth of the human mind.

The artist, deep within, is ensnared in his own thoughts and emotions , which become a source of inspiration and obstacle at the same time. The titles suggests an artist who feels submerged in an ocean of introspection , where each wave of feelings and ideas envelops and challenges him. It is a period of deep reflection and confrontation with one's own inner conflicts. Submersive thoughts can be interpreted as a symbol of isolation or emotional discomfort. The artists feels deeply anchored in his own emotional state and the installation reflects this mood.

However, within the state of vulnerability and unease, there is also a profound beauty that attracts and captivates the viewers. Through this work, ORHAN aims to share an inner journey and offer an open invitation to viewers to connect with their own submersive thoughts and to discover the beauty and depth of art as a mean of salvation and liberation.

Since we had a proper gallery on our hands at Combinatul Fondului Plastic ( big thanx for the awesome space! ), we went full gallery mode with the paper stickers and only added a few vinyls. The rest of the vinyls were saved for the museum.
The ,,wall'' was improvised from adhesive backpaper recycled from .ro 🙏 , so we can reuse the stickers anytime anywhere!

The girls bathroom at now has mirror framed only with handmade stickers, after the festival took place here last month.

is not only a guest artist every year at the festival, but a part of the ,,team" that helps putting make things together, especially the paste-up combos.

Oh boy, she did a great job this year. You'll see what I mean soon.
