The newly completed radiation therapy unit is comprised of two linear accelerators using Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), which delivers radiation directly to cancerous tumors, and a scanner for treatment planning purposes. So far, 350 patients have been treated, and of the 350 patients treated, more than 57% were covered by "Mutuelle de Santé" while others were privately funded. Currently, the center sees an average of 50 patients per day with the capacity to treat up to 150 patients per day at full capacity.
