π¬π§ current Londoner, occasion
Iβm so excited to share that Iβm going to be trading Ahead of the Curve VVF on Sunday 30 April! ππ₯³
The action kicks off at 5pm on Instagram so head over there to set your reminders. And Iβll be sharing plenty of sneak peeks over on the gram in the meantime - you can expect a kaleidoscope of spring/summer pieces, and all sizes 16 and up. I canβt wait! π
Here's a colourful interruption for a grey weather (and dark news) Friday ππ
This stunning 70s Gucci-esque beauty is part of a fabulous top-shelf collection that I've been working on, which will be available for first birthday fair on Sunday 3rd April π
There'll be more previews in the coming weeks including some seriously dreamy pieces from the 70s onwards and in a range of sizes (all 16+). I can't wait to show you everything!
Hope you're all looking after yourselves ππ
Celebrating all the love this weekend! β€οΈπ§‘πππππ€π€π€
I honestly get a little nervous every single time I get a message from someone I've just posted vintage threads to π
even though I'd never list anything I didn't believe in, I always have confidence in my goodies but the small biz imposter syndrome is real!
So a huge & heartfelt thank you to anyone who's ever messaged to say they love their vintage threads, I will watch this compilation of love any time I feel less than. You're the best!
Also my first ever tiktok, it took a lot of wrangling haha please be kind πΆπ»
My first fair of the year is on Sunday 30 January, 5-9pm ππππ
And it's a special sale fair! So there'll be exciting new vintage pieces at affordable prices as well as fresh discounts on existing items - perfect for everyone's January budgets π
and everything size 16+
Set your reminders from this post or in my stories and let me know if there are any particular items still available that you'd like included!
I'm a firm believer in celebrating wins, no matter how small or large. So although I'm still not entirely sure what it'll mean, I'm delighted to have gained an Etsy Star Seller badge for January 2022! π
To celebrate (and to cheer up an otherwise grey month!), I've knocked 25% off *everything* on my Etsy store until the end of Jan - everything is now under Β£40 and has free shipping π± so go have a peek via
And I'll even honour those epic prices here if you'd rather buy via Instagram.
Thank you to everyone who has liked, shared and bought from my Etsy store or engaged in any way on Insta, I'm quite chuffed βΊοΈ
I will never not swoon over a vintage Liberty London label!
This is the first of my two thrifter heart flutters π from my little trip to Kent yesterday, this delightful 80s frock found at in Tenterden.
It feels like a cotton & linen blend, with original dainty lace collar, fitted bodice, puff sleeves dropped waist and pleated skirt. It's not a modern size 16 as it only just fits my size 14 bust - swipe to see in full - but it's so lovely!

Hello grid followers! Thought it was about time I shared a sneak peak of my rail for the next on Sunday π
It's been pretty chilly the last few days so the collection includes long sleeved dresses, toasty warm knits, winter coats and two incredible cloaks βοΈπ¨οΈ
And we're not that far away from the festive season now (eek) so there are some party pieces, including feast-friendly elastic & tie waists! ππ
My rail is definitely more moody in terms of winter hues but there are some prints, sparkles and festive colours to brighten things up.
I should have chance to get some size previews before the end of the week so keep an eye out for that. So far the collection includes sizes 16-24 and all from the 60s - 90s.
See you on Sunday, from 5-9pm π
I'll be trading again virtual vintage fair again for the Halloween Spooktacular on Sunday 10th October from 5-9pm ππ»πβ°οΈπ§ββοΈ
I haven't finished shooting yet but so far I have a spine-chillingly fabulous collection of vintage pieces!
And as usual, you'll find vibrant colours and fun prints, including colourful day dresses ripe for layering, and cosy knits & outer layers for the cooler months π
I'll preview everything by the end of the week, so far the collection includes sizes 16-28 and from the 70s - 90s
Hello, it's been a while between grid posts again! And it's OCTOBER already, where is the time going π°οΈ
My day job has been super busy over the last few weeks, and with slowly increasing social engagements (I've been a post-pandemic hermit), plus an unreasonable amount of stressing despite things not being that stressful?! Well I've just not dedicated as much time as I'd like to posting, hence the Friday evening post!
Behind the scenes though, I've still been pulling together my collection for the next on Sunday 10th October π
I'll share some more previews before the day but here's a quick sneak peek of some of the prints and colours I have coming to the fair. I'm still working out how I'm going to Halloween-ify my photoshoots though πππ»π
And here's my schedule for this evening!
I'll be posting a kaleidoscope of autumn-friendly dresses from 5pm, and then colourful separates (mainly blouses but also some DUNGAREES!) from 6pm.
I'll post everything a few minutes apart so as not to overwhelm you (or me!) but remember you can always follow the hashtag # curvevvf and click "recent" to see everyone's items as they get posted.
Check out my stories and previous post for size previews and to get excited π
And for more info about how it all works, read my last-but-one post!
P.S. don't forget your measuring tape π
Afternoon all ππ» my size previews are all now up on my Stories so go check them out (or swipe to see the collection with tiny text!)

And above all, have fun!!
I'm getting a weeny bit behind with my prep due to work and getting a cold for the first time in forever, but here's a sneak peek of most of the pieces I have coming to on Sunday π
We're still getting a few warmer days so my collection includes pieces suitable for a variety of late summer & early autumn temperatures - but all great for layering into the coming cooler months. And most importantly, still vibrant and colourful!
Hopefully I'll get chance to post some size previews for you all to peruse... I think I have sizes 16-26 and all from the 70s - 90s.
See you on Sunday, from 5-9pm π
I'm super excited to be part of the virtual vintage fair again this Sunday 12th September, from 5-9pm π
I'm putting together a vibrant collection of vintage pieces suitable for late summer & early autumn temperatures - all great for layering into the coming cooler months but still fun, bright & colourful π
I'll preview everything as soon as I can, and so far the collection includes sizes 16-28 and from the 70s - 90s
Back at work today but I was in Manchester for the weekend and had a spare half hour so checked out
It was definitely not enough time to do it properly! And nothing I post will quite capture the vibe of this winding and wonderful four floor rabbit warren of squeaky floorboards, vintage, vinyl, alternative, goth, hippie, eco stuff, posters, t-shirt printing, CBD, tattoo & piercing, and so much more.
It's one of those places that even if they displayed a floorplan and "you are here", you'd still end up walking in circles, looking at the same things twice and still going the wrong way anyway but having a great time π
(In all seriousness, if you're easily overstimulated, I would wear earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones and do it one floor at a time).
It's been around since 1982 as well (same as me!), I bet it's seen some things! I'll have to visit again next time I'm here π
Today I saw this colour-coded approach to vintage sizing being used and thought it was kinda cool.
I always appreciate a good colour-code π and here it means you can very easily see what might be in your size range and ignore whatever definitely isn't.Β Because I don't know about you, but there's only so much I can browse in shops looking for 16+s before I get bored and/or frustrated!
And I like the idea of grouping sizes together, because the size numbers vary so much between brands (fast fashion & vintage).
I'm not sure the S / M / L titles are entirely needed though; if you've included a colour and size number you probably don't need to also remind some people they are larger? And it'd be great if they went higher than a 24. But it is quite refreshing that the L category doesn't equate to a 12/14 as happens in other stores!
What do you think, would you find it useful to see colour-coding in vintage & second-hand stores? Or even online on Instagram listings?
Hello, grid followers ππ» It's been a minute since I posted here so thought I'd say hi!
Weirdly, the longer I go between grid posts, the more I start worrying about the next post, and then it takes me even longer to do so... it's all imposter syndrome stuff; what I've written isn't interesting and my pictures aren't perfectly styled - like it has to be a killer caption with professional grade photos, otherwise it's not good enough π
It's silly because my first posts in 2011 now look like they were taken with a potato. And I've always enjoyed following other people who show begins the scenes and real life. I'm also happy to share all sorts on my Stories, I guess in part because they disappear so quickly!
So in the spirit of perfect being the enemy of done, please enjoy this sneak peek for the next (on Sunday 12th September) in which the light was less than ideal and nothing is ironed - but just look at some of those prints! π

π Iβd like to introduce: π
βππ₯ and the beat goes on π₯πβ
It's a lot of words, hard to shorten and the acronym is kinda ugly. But!
To me, it speaks of a vibrancy and confidence in growing into my own rhythm, and it reassures me that although life may not always be filled with literal sunshine and rainbows, there's *always* colour and music and adventure and laughter to be found.
Itβs Queen's The Show Must Go On followed by Fleetwood Mac's Go Your Own Way. Itβs listening to the past and envisioning a better future. Itβs marching in solidarity, itβs activism and orchestrating to make change. Itβs doing things in my own time, knowing Iβm only human and trying my best. Itβs practicing my own song and using it to contribute to the wider symphony of life. Itβs the project semicolon tattoo; a commitment to a continued story. Itβs never-the-less, she persisted. Itβs just old clothes, but no-one said we had to smash the patriarchy in clothes we didn't like πππ€
It's also the title of an excellent 70s disco track. And I love 60s & 70s vibes - hippie earth-child, hazy psychedelia, disco luxe, all sunshine and rainbows and boogie nights - so you'll see a lot of those influences. And as I fluctuate from a UK size 12-18, I know it can be challenging to find vintage that fits my body as well as my style, so Iβll do my best to feature a variety of sizes, including the grooviest of mid/plus-sized threads for those of us with curvier bodies.
Here Iβll post a mix of vintage finds and the usual (memes and my lunch will still feature heavily ofc). And Iβll keep sharing s**t you should care about; stimulating and unapologetically political things from smart, inspiring people. Iβll keep working on my fear of being vocal about things I believe in, because thereβs a lot going on that we have the power to change. πͺπ»βπ»
Lastly, Iβll do things in the most eco-friendly way I can, because thatβs why I love vintage & second-hand threads - I can make more ethical and planet-friendly choices, whilst also having a wardrobe of amazing and unique pieces, with a history and a future, and filled with stories and soul! ππ΅οΈπΌ
