As you may have heard, myself and the band will be playing a special headline show for this coming Tuesday 17th Oct. We are excited! Support from and who I cannot wait to see.

We’ve also got another very special show announcement, playing as part of 2nd Birthday weekender 🥳 We’re playing Saturday 4th November, but I highly encourage getting a weekend ticket to catch the whole juicy lineup 🔥

I’ll also be tuning in online to perform a song or two on Sunday evening for the Peace Sounds compilation launch show, where all proceeds from the album will be going towards the creation of a new Plum Village mindfulness centre in England - a really special project. Feeling pretty grateful for lots of things right now as I just finish up a deep ecology and mindfulness retreat at on the run by the super hero that is Mick. It’s been profound to say the least and I will be carrying the insights and inspiration home with me for sure 🙏🏼

To celebrate Christchurch being in the world for over a year, I have a double single coming out 🥳

Two acoustic versions of songs on that EP will be with you on September 8th, Christchurch (Acoustic) & Curtains (Acoustic).

Performed, arranged, recorded by me, and mixed and mastered by these versions offer a more stripped back folk aesthetic, to that of their original.

Come on your own, with friends and family, a community group – or a local XR group. Come when you like, leave when you like, and stay for as long as you can. 2022 was the realisation and continuation of many beautiful things for this project.

I feel proud to have released my first collection of songs in May of last year, and it feels wonderful to have met, collaborated and performed with some great players and singers.
The live project evolved into a full band and I am very stoked to share with you all the fruits of that labour this year. And I wrote some new songs which I am very excited to record and release this year.

Thank you friends for your ears and your love and support. It gives me great pleasure to try to materialise the music that for so long has lived only with myself. The therapeutic qualities of sharing and making these songs are profound, and although I am only really doing this for my own healing and growth, it feels even more motivating and purposeful knowing that some of those songs may move or touch you in some way.

May 2023 hear the music of our hearts 💛

The project is growing!

Feeling very grateful and excited to be working along some excellent players for the fuller realisation of Joshua K. On the drums we have mr 🥁 on bass we have mr (or Charlie) and on lead guitar Mr Giles Penny and One of my hero’s on keys mr . And very much looking forward to diving into it all with the very talented on BVs.
