Step aboard the Paddan sightseeing boats in the centre of the city at Kungsportsplatsen. See the old moat and canals that date from the 17th century while learning about the history of Gothenburg’s construction and defence ⭐

250 students from the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology participated in Unimeet Gothenburg’s exclusive program, Career Development Bootcamp. An 8-week digital program designed to support international students on their career journey in Gothenburg after graduation 😃

During the program, participants gained a better understanding of the Swedish job market and work culture. They developed their CV writing and networking skills, prepared for job interviews, and set clear career goals 🙌

The program was led by Alena Ipanova, Synergizer, who is an international leadership trainer and executive coach helping individuals develop practical skills and growth mindset to succeed in their life and career in Sweden ⭐️

International students on an exclusive visit to AstraZeneca! 🧑‍🔬

On the 16th of May, international students in chemistry and IT were welcomed to AstraZeneca. During the visit, students learned about the company’s background, sustainability goals, and future visions. They also had the opportunity to take part of an exclusive tour of the company’s chemistry lab and received valuable information about the opportunities AstraZeneca offers international students and academics. 🧪🧬

The company visit was organized by Unimeet Gothenburg with the aim of providing participants with a unique opportunity to learn more about the industry and expand their professional network. 🙌

Guided tour on beautiful Vrångö 💙

On May 11, Unimeet Gothenburg organized a guided tour on Vrångö. Vrångö, the southernmost island in the Gothenburg archipelago, offers beautiful sceneries, lovely walking trails, and several bathing opportunities ☀️🌊

The participants were led along a 3 km walking trail and learned about the island’s fascinating history and enjoyed it’s stunning views. This activity is one of many that Unimeet organizes to showcase Gothenburg and all that the destination has to offer 🙌

SKF welcomed international students to the headquarters in Gamlestaden ⭐️

On April 10, SKF welcomed international students from various fields, including mobility technology and product development at Chalmers University of Technology, to their headquarters in Gamlestaden. The students received valuable information about SKF's Global Graduate Program and had the opportunity to join an exclusive tour of one of SKF's factories.

The company visit was arranged by Unimeet Gothenburg with the aim of offering the participants a unique opportunity to learn more about the company's various industries, business functions, as well as get information about applications that SKF offers 🙌 😃

On March 26th, Volvo Group welcomed international students within technology, computer science and IT at The University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology. The company visit was organized by Unimeet Gothenburg with the aim of offering participants a unique opportunity to learn more about Volvo Group and the opportunities the company can offer to students and recent graduates 🙌

Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, make new connections, and expand their professional network within the industry 😃
