Framme is a marketing production service. Helping creative marketers to turn their ideas into tailor-made marketing materials and productions.
Brrr! Together with our apparel partner Stanley Stella we wish you a warm (or at least warmer) start to 2024!
With the upcoming Vappu/Valborg/Labour Day/First of May Celebrations we are preparing.
A good combo of sill (herring), snaps (a shot of ), engineering joke magazine (Äpy or Julkku), organic cotton sweaters () and branded shorts gets our Wappu weekend started 😂👌🏼🥂
Glada Vappen!!
As part of the B Corporation month, we promised to show and tell what we have done at Framme for our communities, workers, customers and planet.
Part 4/4: Interdependence and communication in media.
One of the key idealogies within the community is interdependence. Meaning how everything in interlinked and connected.
Our decision to choose a specific production partner in the Nordics, the Baltics or Asia impacts the workers of that business, the suppliers of raw materials, the environment and nature where these raw materials are made, logistics partners and many more. What companies, suppliers and partners we want to make business with?
Earlier this week, we teamed up with Founder and Director and co-wrote an article to a Finnish business media about interdependence and how companies should consider the impact of their decisions over generations, not just the next financial quarters.
You can find the link to the article (written in Finnish) in our bio and here: https://www.kauppalehti.fi/uutiset/yritys-ei-voi-tehda-enaa-kompromisseja-vastuullisuuden-kustannuksella/a24597f3-4c37-4853-a242-d45cb5f861e2

Happy Earth Day! 🌍
Since 1970s, the Earth Day movement has been pushing to take action on climate.
Our sustainability journey at Framme continues as well. Improving our supply chain, choosing environmentally-friendly materials and producing less, but better.
Do you have any suggestions for us becoming more sustainable?
As part the B-Corp month, we promised to show and tell what we have done at Framme for our communities, workers, customers and planet.
Part 3/4: Transparency with sustainability goals. And f*ck-ups.
Since applying for the certification and becoming B-Corporation in August 2021, we have been very ambitious to increase our impact and make physical marketing more sustainable.
We have made a lot of great decisions, but also some bad moves we are learning from. We also want to share these f*ck-ups transparently with you, so that hopefully, you can avoid making similar mistakes.
Read our CEOs full blog post from our website that highlight our bad moves – 'Setting too many targets' and 'Create or meet the demand for sustainability' – and our approach to learn from them.
Link also in bio 👍🏼
Monday morning music 🎶📻
We branded these kickass Marshall Kilburn II bluetooth speakers for a legendary Finnish brand Jaloviina already a few years back.
Just thought that this 4/4/22 morning would be the best day the post them and ask what tune is your go-to-song on a Monday morning?
As part of the B Corporation month, we promised to show and tell what we have done at Framme for our communities, workers, customers and planet.
Part 2/4: Workers. Our wonderful Framme team.
One of the impact assessment areas when applying to become a B Corp focuses on how to take better care of your own team members.
Here in the Nordics, the social security systems, healthcare and employee legislation including minimum wage, pension and parental leave already set a great baseline for taking care of employees compared to many other countries.
On top of these basics, here are some of the things that we do:
1) Provide supplementing healthcare to the team, by a private hospital Pihlajalinna, in together with insurance
2) Match employees’ donations: if an employee wants to donate personally to a not-for-profit, Framme will pay an equal amount.
3) Ownership: Over 60% of the current team members are also owners of Framme.
4) Personal development and subsidised educational opportunities: Many of our team members study whilst working. Our CTO Tuomas Vainio is completing a ThePowerMBA course paid by Framme
5) And lastly weekly sweating. Our Helsinki team work out in a group training together with our customers every Thursday. Despite all the swearing, sweating and sore muscles we love it 💪😁
We recognise there are many things we still need to improve when it comes to supporting our team. But surely and sometimes slowly, we do things to improve day after day.
As part of the B Corp month, we want to tell what we at Framme have done for our communities, workers, customers and planet.
Part 1: One of the many decisions we did when applying for a certification in 2020 was to review our suppliers and production partners thoroughly.
Through an assessment and by creating a code of conduct for our production partners, we had to let go some of our old and find new, more sustainanble suppliers 🌿
One of them is a certified apparel supplier Similar to Framme, Stanley/Stella is dedicated to work towards sustainable solutions. They only work with 100% organic cotton and recycled materials.
Since the beginning of 2019 we have been working with them and last year we became their official partner in Finland and Sweden.
And oh boy, we love how they innovate. For example, these Stanley Climber padded vests are made of 100% recycled polyester including its shell, padding and lining. They are also Global Recycled Standard, FairWear and vegan certified 👊🏼🌿
It’s sometimes hard to know what makes one business better than the next. Because any business can make any claim, about anything. B Corps are different.
Our business isn’t about what we say. It’s about what we do. Because doing is everything. It’s what we do that defines us — and the world we want to live in. And B Corps are doing amazing things: for our communities, workers, customers, and planet.
In the next 30 days, we’ll open our doors and show what we do at Framme.
This giant is our coach and this is how we move at Framme.
Every Thursday coach Matti runs a brutal group training at the amazing facilities for our own team and brave clients like from from Coolbet from from and .kur from SOK.
This weekly Thursday delight is a rough mixture of burpees, thrusters, squats, kettlebell swings and Redcord moves that result in blood, sweat and tears. Doesn’t that sound about right .kur and ? 😂💪🏼
Happy New Year folks! And welcome 2022! Exciting times ahead, news to be shared and projects to be delivered
🎉🥳🍾
This is B Friday. Not Black Friday, but B Corp Friday.
We challenge you, your agency and your brand make less, buy less, produce less, consume less, but make better stuff. Better items. Better campaigns. Better materials. Better ideas. Be a change maker. That’s how we challenge ourselves too. Every day.
Huge congrats to our friends by joining forces with Amazing work! 💪🏼🖤🥗🍜
We can’t wait to see where our collaboration with Framme Store digital ordering tool and physical marketing items in restaurants evolve.
Have you ever considered what materials your merchandise, and event and retail elements are made of? Or how to make them more sustainably? ♻️
We have written a free Materials Guide for brand builders, marketers and designers. With the guide we have listed most common raw materials, reviewed them from sustainability perspective across eight criteria and provide recommendations.
We’ve also introduced new innovative materials from companies like among others.
You can download a free copy by subscribing to our newsletter from our website framme.com/sustainability/materials-guide
We are back at Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Or not actually us, but one of the branded backpacks we did for all the employees of newly merged Anora Group (née Altia and Arcus) team members. And one of their lovely employees.
And like proper Nordic explorers, aren’t they on an adventure!? Just recently with the merger, Anora Group became the biggest spirits and wine company in the Nordics and now aiming to conquer new heights. New summits. 🗻

If you are that kind of explorer who heads to the Nordic wilderness for longer hikes and wonders, or make a regular Wednesday morning coffees with a bonfire, you must have come across with classic Nordic kuksa/kåsa cups. If not, let us tell you a bit of them.
These branded wooden beauties we did for online casino are made from collected old gnarled birch that is mellowed by the midnight sun, the Northern Lights and crackling frosts of the North.
They combine true craftmanship following an ancient tradition and modern laser engraving technique for a branded logo and message.
So what are social media team wants to tell here is that next time when you are thinking where to find talented local craftsmen, commercial artists and Nordic makers, talk to Framme’s production dudes and dudettes. They will help you all the way from ideas to finding right makers to sustainable production and deliveries✌🏼
One hell of a milestone is now complete. After 18 months of strategic thinking, lots of swear words, learnings and hard work we have become a certified . 2nd in Finland. 6th in Sweden. One of the first in our industry across the planet.
WTF is a B Corporation you are probably thinking? They are modern businesses that balances between purpose and profit. They are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment.
Certified B Corporations like and now Framme, are a community of leaders, driving a global movement of people using business as a force for good. To make a bigger impact.
We can’t be more excited to continue the work we have started. To become a better company, that can help the marketing industry operate in an increasingly sustainable way. Yeah, working together to make a difference 🌿🖤
