The competition might have ended but the spirit remains. Our ‘Is This It?’ SNCC blend, which we served at the Oatly booth, was a hit! Many of you asked if you could buy a bag on the spot, but due to licensing issues, we couldn’t sell it then.

So, our VDC Genius thinktank put their heads together and had a heated debate: sell the blend at $25 per bag or just give it away since they were roasted for the event anyway. After a lot of coffee-fueled discussions, the Genius thinktank decided to bundle it up and recreate the magic of our Gori Gesha giveaway!

One important pair of hands that goes behind your coffee is that of the packaging worker aka me. From bagging to sealing, printing to date chopping and final bagging, my hands work tirelessly for you to ensure your coffee reaches you fresh and ready to be enjoyed 🥳🤍🤍

But there are many other pairs of hands behind your cup of coffee - hands of farmers who meticulously tend to their crops, nurturing coffee plants from seed to harvest. Hands that carefully pick ripe coffee cherries, ensuring quality at every step.

Hands that process the cherries, removing the pulp and drying the beans to perfection. Lastly, the hands of coffee roasters who skillfully roast the beans, coaxing out their unique flavors.

In our recent post, we mentioned how coffee subscription has become a large part of our business. Let's spend a bit of time today to explain our coffee subscription program.

At Venture Drive Coffee, we understand your passion for exceptional coffee. We also understand that you might not always have time to visit us at our branches. That's why we offer a tailored subscription program designed to elevate and convenience your coffee experience. As with any coffee subscription, freshly roasted coffee beans are delivered right to your doorstep on your preferred schedule.

What you might not know is that being a Venture Drive Coffee subscriber lets you into a world of privileges and exclusive invites. In June, we held our first Subscriber Appreciation Event (SAE) where hundreds of subscribers turned up for a day of delectable bakes and coffee tasting. Just this month, we gave a small bag of Ethiopian Gori Gesha from Gesha Village / Ecuadorian Sidra from La Josefina Estate for ALL our subscribers.

Our next SAE will be some time in Nov/Dec and our team is working tirelessly to curate the best event for you.

In the early months of 2020, our journey began as a humble coffee shop servings cups after cups of coffee.

Our customers then asked, ‘do you sell coffee beans?’
So in mid 2020, we started selling our coffees in simple coffee bags and glass bottles!

Just when we were finalizing our coffee bags and design, our customers then asked ‘do you offer coffee subscription service?’
So fast forward to February 2022, we took a leap of faith and launched our coffee subscription program.

Little did we know that this decision would transform our venture into something far more profound. Today, our coffee subscriptions stand as a cornerstone of our business, a testament to the remarkable journey we've embarked upon.

Our dark roast coffee often boasts low (not no) acidity. Its aroma and full-bodied taste makes it ideal for those who enjoy richer coffee experience. So, my team and I will be spending the next 1 month working on the renovation of Gaia at NBS and when I come back to NIE, I promise I won’t forget your order 🍓♥️
