The yakitori line up at Kemuri! Here is what to expect; all sticks are grilled with high quality charcoal by the yakitori master himself, Chef Michio “Mitchy” Murakami. Every stick was quite masterful; some of my favs include the tsukune, chicken tail, chicken skin and definitely the chicken wing. You know it’s good when your Japanese colleague was having some or****ic reaction to each bite HAHA!
kemuri's Omakase will serve yakitori until you say stop, as well as 7 side dishes, and your selection of a rice or noodle dish.

Be spoiled for choice with the variety of shichimi togarashi peppers, a Japanese traditional blend of 7 spices, that you can savour with the yakitori.
Be blown away by the succulent richness of various cuts of the chicken, grilled to perfection on the charcoal grill with a slight crispy char sheath around the juicy collagen.
At kemuri, the wine and sake list boasts a fine and carefully-sourced selection of alcohol brought in directly from Japan such as beer, shochu, wine and sake, that can be enjoyed by the bottle or the glass.

Kemuri serves up only one Omakase course that reflects the best selections of Yakitori and dishes with the finest seasonal ingredients sourced from Toyosu, Japan.

kemuri is spearheaded by Chef Michio "Mitchy" Murakami, a Yakitori master that has gained a reputation as the Head Yakitori Chef at the sister restaurant of one of the most famous Yakitori restaurants in Tokyo that was awarded Michelin Bib Gourmand across 5 years.
Encompassing only 10 counter seats and 8 guests spread across 2 tables, guests are invited to step into the zen-like atmosphere for a revitalising experience at the sister restaurant to 4-time Michelin Plate awardee, Kappo Shunsui, with fresh, quality produce imported directly from Japan.
