🦐Sakura Ebi🦐 is a small dried shrimp with a bright pink colour, used as a topping in cooking!

This little shrimp is 💥bursting💥 with umami. We've distilled this unique flavour into three dishes, highlighting the distinct taste of the Sakura Ebi 🤤

Aside from protein, Sakura Ebi contain calcium which keeps bones and teeth healthy, copper which supports the absorption of iron and prevents anemia, and vitamin B12 which aids in lipid metabolism.

🌸 TRIVIA: The name sakura-ebi was coined due to the natural pink coloring of the shrimp, as it is reminiscent of sakura cherry blossoms in bloom! 🌸

Akashi-Tai is the best expression of everything we believe in. A true artisan sake, handmade in small batches by our Toji (master brewer) Kimio Yonezawa and his close team of trusted craftsmen. We brew using traditional methods, and only with the highest quality, locally produced ingredients. Most notably the rice and the water, both of which Hyogo is renowned for throughout Japan and the wider sake world.

It is the embodiment of Akashi Sake Brewery’s spirit, and a prime example of characterful sake from Hyogo – the birthplace of sake.

Ikura いくら

This Daiginjo sake is made with the best rice polished to the highest level of 40%. The Yamada rice cake is then carefully brewed in the Akita low temperature style with long-term fermentation. This sake was made without compromise. The fine taste and elegant aroma would make every drop unforgettable.
