NVPC CEO, Soh quoted Master Oogway's famous words to gift a 'present' . A special invite to the Premiere show of Kung Fu Panda 4.

The Kindheroes were thrilled with the invite and had an amazing time with Po's journey to embrace change.

The movie is so wholesome like its prequels- Po's quips, his unseriousness in face of pressure, Awkwafina's brilliant portrayal, plus Hans Zimmer music and 'Baby one more time' closing credits - all in all a wholesome viewing experience.

Thanks NVPC- an amazing 'present' indeed ❤️

Meeting a kindhero 🦸‍♂️🤩

Last week, I took a gojek to Istana to attend the International Volunteers day reception hosted by the President and NVPC - Towards a City of Good. I got down at plaza singapura (nearest drop off point). I was decked in an Indian sari and was fussing with it and realised only after a few mins that I had left the phone in the cab. I borrowed a phone from a kind lady and called my phone. The driver picked it up and I explained to him that I need the phone to show the invite at Istana gates and that I would miss the event entry in another 25 mins. 😳 He had already taken another ride but said he would come back after dropping the ride off. The sky which was downcast till then started pouring in all its glory. ⛈️
When he reached and handed over the phone, i asked him if can drop me closer to the istana gates. he offered me a nice umbrella instead 🫠since this was the closest drop off. I thanked him profusely and ran thru plaza singapore in my sari (bollywood ish style) and then through the rain in time to catch the shuttle from the Istana gates. my sari and shoes were fully wet but I couldnt have been more glad for making it in time.
I sent him a tip later through the app.

Good fun for young kids, they have storytelling and arts&crafts session every Saturday. Mostly free, with a small amount ($3) for the supplies. It is by a non-profit and they welcome volunteers to manage these Saturday sessions. Do check it out for forthcoming Sat sessions !
