We know you asked us to bring back a souvenir from our little trip, so we decided to bring Saigon to Singapore instead! 🇻🇳
saigon , ranked #58 in Asia is taking over the bar and turning the clocks back to 1960s and 70s Vietnam.
Drop by on 23 October for a midweek pick-me-up and sip on a limited-edition cocktail menu inspired by Vietnamese street drinks, right here at The Elephant Room!
Not goodbye, just see you soon! ♥️
Our beloved bartender Jimmy is taking a well-deserved break to focus on his health.
Joining us just before the pandemic, Jimmy quickly became a cornerstone of our little family. His creative flair and infectious energy made every shift a joy (and a little blurry 👀). Between all our travels and the hearts he’s captured, it’s very easy to say that Jimmy’s impact on our bar is immeasurable.
We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming him back with open arms. Cheers for everything, Jimmy 🍺
Our sense of smell drives about 80% of what we taste, and few creatures capture the power of scent like the elephant, with more smell receptors than any other mammal. This makes it the perfect symbol for Rahasya's collaboration with The Elephant Room, a contemporary cocktail bar inspired by the vibrant spirit of Singapore’s Little India.
Together, we're diving into the fascinating link between fragrance and flavour, blending the essence of modern India with local culture to create something truly unique. Elephant Room is rolling out a new cocktail menu inspired by Rahasya's bold fragrances, while Rahasya unveils its debut collection of niche perfumery inspired by contemporary Indian themes.
It’s been nearly a decade since Singapore has witnessed a collaboration like this, and we can’t wait for you to join us on this unforgettable sensory journey!

If you’re looking for something comforting to soothe your weekday worries, there’s the Mussel Crab Sothi. An underdog in the menu of heavy hitters to satisfy your appetite.
Sothi is a spiced coconut curry traditionally from the southern part of India and Sri Lanka. We added mussels and crab meat to liven up the dish and give it a touch of seafood umami. To balance the richness of the broth, sour green mangoes are tossed in, leaving you with succulent mussels and swimming in an addictive potion. A helping of flakey, buttery pratha is on the side to soak up the last bits at the bottom of the bowl.
It’s an honorary member of the clean bowl club. Try it to find out why.

You think you’ve had coffee, until you you’ve had Sinhala Coffee. Straight from Sri Lanka, which is commonly known for their vast collection of teas, this coffee is an absolute underdog.
We’ve taken its bold, chocolatey flavours and infused it with Arrack, making a coffee mead. Finally, finishing it off with kithul as a natural sweetener.
When it comes to your first sip, expect the unexpected - https://bit.ly/3GSq4pj
This one’s a crowd favourite for a reason. Take succulent roast belly, Tandoori spices and you have a winner. Our Tandoori Pork Belly is the best a hog can be, after being treated with the traditional marinade of yogurt and spices.
As a new addition to the menu, we decided to try out a fattier cut of meat, marinated in the mouth watering spices, and stuck in a sous vide for 12hrs. What you end up with is a perfectly tender, just firm enough cut of pork that’s paired with a caramelised onion pineapple jam and pickles to cut through the rich flavours.

A humble cocktail that deserves a time in the spotlight. Farmer’s Joy is an homage to the Pongal Festival celebrated in the Tamil Nadu State. It’s a time to give thanks to the sun god and nature for aiding local farmers.
It starts with fermented rice wine, which represents the hardworking folk who toil the lands. Turmeric symbolises their courage and sacrifice, while camphor, commonly used in religious ceremonies during the festival, adds a piquant sourness to brighten the flavours.
A taste of the simpler times - https://bit.ly/3GSq4pj
A taste of home comes from ingredients treated with extra care. Fried bitter gourd is a nostalgic dish commonly found in Amma’s cookbook (check hers for yourself). Our Aloo & Bitter Gourd Fry is a balanced take on the bitter vegetable by adding perfectly roasted baby potatoes. The medley is tossed in a spicy masala blend to pull it together, while adding a touch of heat to the already hearty dish.
Add a fried egg on the top and call it a meal. Book a table to save yourself a seat - https://bit.ly/3GSq4pj

Presented to you by Singapore Tourism Board with our Official Travel Partner Trip.com
Our team will be bringing our bold flavours across the border to Pahit — Kuala Lumpur’s original gin bar in a passion-packed takeover. You don’t want to miss this one night only event.
Asura, the ruler of the netherworld who fought for their reign of heaven. Stories of their clash with the Gods have been exchanged in every Indian home, and rightly finds its place as decorations to ward off evil.
We pay homage to the sacrifices with a rich, fearsome cocktail in an equally daunting ceramic. The cocktail itself, inspired by the Tamil Nadu, consists of two different leaves that form the distillate base, kaffir lime and curry. Roasted orgeat, made from cashews, almonds, green cardamom and rose water are added for a nutty, creamy texture. The finish is a torched curry meringue for an explosion of rich flavour in every sip.

A great person like a great cocktail must have strength and sophistication in perfect harmony. And no one embodies this balance more than our very own captain Mr Yugnes “Yugi” Susela.
Most know him as a consummate professional and the foremost proponent of Indian culture in the cocktail world, wowing his patrons with bold flavours and signature flair. But more than that, he is a fierce yet caring leader who pushes his crew and demands they respect themselves as he respects them. Thus his namesake “Cocktail Mahout”.
Join us in wishing the man, myth and legend Yugnes Susela a blessed birthday.
If you’ve ever wondered what a dessert curry would taste like, you’ve come to the right place. We’ve taken the rich, creamy mouthfeel of curry, along with its explosive flavours, and presented it in a way defies expectation.
Instead of thick, caramel-hued sauce, think of a light, airy meringue. And instead of coating it over a slow roasted cut, sip on it as a garnish of a cocktail.
Familiar, comforting flavours, in a totally different light. Trust us, you won’t just stop at one - link in bio.
We’ve shared our special moments with you, it’s time for you to share yours. If you’re looking for a cosy spot that serves up delicious cocktails and grub for your next event, give us a call!
