The wavelength of a laser determines what medium is used to generate the laser , and determines its characteristics (absorbed more by melanin pigment cells? Or absorbed more by hemoglobin? Or both ?)

KTP-532nm laser means the laser is 532nm in wavelength, green in color and generated by the medium potassium titanyl phosphate.

Dye 595nm means the laser is 595nm in wavelength, yellow in color and generated by Pulsed Dye.

Based on the absorption coefficient chart :

1. KTP 532nm laser is similar in the absorption by Hemoglobin (present in capillaries, veins, rosacea, sensitive skin, port wine stains, red birthmarks, bruises) as Pulsed Dye 595nm laser.

2. KTP 532nm laser is around 1.5x as effective as Pulsed Dye 595nm to be absorbed by Melanin (pigments).
