Tubulars have been the mainstay for pros for decades. While they may seem old-school, tubulars offer some performance benefits for serious cyclists:

• Lighter weight for quicker acceleration
• Superior cornering grip and road feel
• Lower rolling resistance for better speed
• Ability to run lower pressures safely
• Reduced risk of pinch flats

The gluing process is simpler because modern tubular tape makes installation a little easier.

We are expecting a shipment of the updated Shimano RC703 shoes. It's available in three colorways - Black, White and Sage Green. There are standard sizes and wide options.

The RC703 shares many features of the top-end S-PHYRE pro-level technology, but sits at a more affordable price point. For the price paid, you get quite a lot of shoe.

We have 2 sets of GRX Limited Edition SPD pedals. They feature the "United in Gravel" graphics.

It has what you'd expect of Shimano pedals: large pedal platform, robust retention for smooth entry and release, and rider adjustable tension settings.

The spindle is chrome-moly with an 8mm hexagon wrench mount.

We received two new test saddles: the Shimano Pro Stealth Team and the Stealth Performance Curved.

You could loan out these test saddles for a week to evaluate them, to see if they fit you. That will make you more confident in your buying decision.

We understand that it is difficult to evaluate a saddle that you've not used before. And finding a suitable saddle isn't that straightforward, and we want to help you find a saddle that suits you.

I know we just posted about the HJC IBEX 3 Dancheong helmet yesterday...

But we also have another special edition helmet in store - the Furion 2.0 Red Bull Racing Edition.

The Furion 2.0 is the result of HJC's experience in MotoGP. It's optimized for aerodynamics, while still trying to maintain air cooling.

We have four in stock (S, M and L). They are also available on our web store.

Celebrating HJC's 53rd anniversary and Korean heritage, they released the Special Edition HJC IBEX 3 Dancheong.

Dancheong is the intricate and vibrant decorative art form adorning Korean palaces and temples. This helmet is HJC's tribute to tradition.

This helmet has a special edition box, including a matching musette bag and keychain.

We restocked our range of Pirelli P Zero Race TLR RS tires in 700x28C and 700x30C.

Like aerodynamics, tire width choices can be against our intuition. It used to be accepted that thin (19C or 21C) tires, pumped to rock-hard pressures (>100PSI) were fast. Nowadays, with better knowledge, we know that, to a certain extent, wider tires, with lower PSI have lower rolling resistance. Plus they are more comfortable.

Pirelli P Zero has been one of our bestselling tires in the last month, especially the 28C size. Drop by to have a look before they sell out again.

We attended a training session yesterday at Shimano Cycling World about Shimano Di2 technologies.

We are constantly learning and updating our knowledge to be able to help our customers better.

Last week, we had a few people asking how to select the correct helmet.

Here are some general pointers.
- Try different sizes and choose the one that best matches the circumference of your head.
- Close the adjusting device at the back. Shake your head slightly. The helmet should not move.
- Adjust the cross buckles, forming a "Y" under your earlobe.
- The strap must sit under your jaw. The buckle must not rest on your jaw. Fasten the straps not too tight or too loose. When you tilt your head backwards, your forehead should not become exposed.

A helmet protects only if it fits correctly. If you're not sure, visit our store and we can help you. We have Kabuto, Lazer and HJC helmets.

Zipp SL 80 Race handlebar in stock now.

The SL 80 Race handlebar came out of a desire to create a handlebar specific to drivetrain controls. The RED AXS control team and the Zipp handlebar team worked together to create a handlebar that is designed specifically for a road groupset.

In addition, the designers looked at sizing and how the handlebar is shaped.

The result is a handlebar that attempts to maximise comfort in the drops, on the hoods, and at the same time being aerodynamic.

P Zero Race TLR in store now!

Made in Italy. The P Zero Race TLR RS is the latest addition to the P Zero Race road racing tires.

The SmartEVO2 compound is formulated from trickle down know-how from the latest materials used in motorsport. In addition, the patented SpeedCORE structure is lighter, featuring a thin layer of rubber enriched with aramid particles.

This creates a high-performance tire that is faster.
