THE AYTF RESIDENCY PROGRAMME 2021
The AYTF residency programme is an annual event held in Asia. It’s main aim is to aid the education and preparation of youth leaders with an interest in developing theatre within the region, creating ties with Asian practitioners and to utilise theatre as a vehicle for change, enhancing and educating communities through theatre.
How do I know I’m qualified?
To qualify, youth arts leaders should:
* Be aged 35 and below
* Be associated to an established youth arts organisation in Asia
* Be actively involved in the growth and development of the supporting organisation
The Residency offers youth arts leaders the opportunity to:
* Develop their art form
* Develop their thinking
* Help grow their organisation
* Strengthen art in Asia
* Empower the next generation of Asian artists

These sessions are now scheduled to be released on www.assitejonline.org on the 1st April.
We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused but we hope you continue to enjoy them from the 1st.
At last count, 1192 delegates had bought a Full Access Pass to the event - from Australia to Argentina, Canada to China, Mongolia to Mexico, Norway to Nigeria, and Sweden to South Africa - we welcome you all to our online event.
We have 158 event sessions being released, or held live until 1st April. Beyond that, you will be able to watch all the recordings up to and including the 11th April 2021.
We have had 4728 unique ZOOM registrations for live events (not including speakers, presenters, or those who watch recordings to catch-up). Together, we have logged more than 160,199 meeting minutes on ZOOM (that's nearly 16 consecutive weeks of meetings!)
Each Full Access Pass holder currently has access to over 7,077 minutes of pre-recorded (with more on its way) - that would take you nearly 5 days of non-stop viewing! More than 77,020 minutes (53 days) of performances and pre-recorded Professional Exchange sessions have so far been streamed in total by delegates from all over the world.
We are very humbled by this support and hope you are all finding the event engaging, entertaining, and informative!
It's not too late to join us if you haven't yet bought a Pass. 4 days left of live sessions and another 10 days after that to catch up on all the recordings!

To help all of our viewers across the world - we have made a small but helpful update to our www.assitejonline.org website for the 20th ASSITEJ World Congress.
Now all sessions and productions are will show their start time both in GMT and local time/date format.
For example, "MARCH 27, 2021 00:01 GMT (26-03, 21:01 LOCAL TIME)".
As we have delegates logging in from all over the world; we know that the timezone issue can be confusing for many people. So we hope this makes your future browsing much easier to follow so you can learn and enjoy more of the upcoming content from the congress.
Great start to Congress 2020 General Assembly sessions.

Clarice Basilio: My mum brought me to watch live performances/ theatre shows when I was young. I remember being fascinated and inspired that I even convinced my mum to enrol me for dance classes because I wanted to be a performer. After so many years I still love dancing. And now that I'm a mum, I want to share the same experience with my son and hope that he develops an appreciation for art. And maybe even spark his interest to pursue it.
Coming. Take A Child To Theatre Day. March 20.
