Each event features a chef sharing their culinary passions, paired with the expertise of our bar or sommelier team members. Chef Alan Chan, an original Slayer at Burnt Ends, brings a rich culinary heritage and over a decade of experience to “The Takeover” series. Raised in Malacca, Malaysia, Alan’s love for food was inspired by his grandmother’s multi-ethnic dishes. He trained in French cooking at Taylor’s Culinary Institute and began his career in Singapore at Pizzeria Mozza. His formative years were spent at Burnt Ends under Chef Dave Pynt, participating in professional exchanges and collaborations.
Alan joined Rempapa as head chef in 2022, focusing on Singapore's Culinary Heritage. His journey epitomises the dedication and excellence celebrated in “The Takeover” series.
