In 2024, hope to shoot more sessions like these🥰
{Colour of the Ocean}
No need for awkward posing.
Letting go of any preconceived ideas about being in front of the camera.
Had a truly delightful time spent with Janine and Fabian. They are simply two lovely, gentle souls deeply …..
in love.

Isn't it fascinating how two people fall in love?
In a world full of clichés and relentless advertising, the magical stuff often gets overshadowed by the mundane.
Maybe thats why I'm still loving what I do. I get to pause fleeting moments and dive into a world of curiosity. Looking at pictures of couples, I can't help but wonder,
How did their love story begin?
{Walks in the Rain}
Janine and Fabian met in school, went on a holiday to the Philippines, and fell in love.
Guess what?
They just got married! And get this, very few knew about it.
I was privileged enough to be there with them after they signed the marriage certificate.
Even though it was raining, it was hard for portraits to be done. Still, we decided to go with the flow.
Apart from their striking good looks, what I loved about them was how friendly, warm, and down-to-earth they were.
They were a little shy at first but quickly opened up and showed me their playful side.
Thankful for their trust and openness, even on such a rainy day.
Dear Janine and Fabian, have a love filled with joy and passion!
I'm excited to see what the future holds for you guys.
{Da, da, da, da, da}
An epic wedding celebration filled with laughter, love, and good vibes!
From the unexpected march-in soundtrack - Dr. Dre's "The Next Episode" - to the wild cheers from the guests, the energy in the room was off the charts as the bride and groom made their entrance.
And let's not forget about the guests; they were a total blast! Richmond and Selene's friends were a riot.
They definitely knew how to let loose and have a good time!
All in all, it was an afternoon filled with nothing but good vibes and plenty of memorable moments.

{Little moments}
Close your eyes and imagine.
If you could picture moments from your wedding day(be in from your past or in the future),
what would they be?
The car ride taking you from place to place,
the pockets of waiting time in between,
simple acts like helping Dad look good
or that short amount of time where you get to be alone with each other.
Simple moments to hold on to.

{Gonna be a lovely day}
We often forget how nice it is to keep things simple.
The simplicity of the Bridal pick-up that day appealed to me.
A lovely and meaningful morning with little fuss.
Selene spent time with people who were important to her, such as her parents and siblings. While she was getting ready, they gravitated to her room.
It all made sense.
Everyone, including Selene, was looking forward to Richmond's arrival.

{The best part of me is you}
Have you ever met a couple who just clicked? It's a lovely sight to behold. When two people match each other so well that they become more than the sum of their parts, they become bigger than the sum of their parts.
Maybe one partner is more outgoing and adventurous, while the other is more grounded and practical. Or perhaps one is a creative dreamer, while the other is a logical thinker. These differences create a strong and harmonious partnership no matter how they come together. It's not about being the same but how well they go together.
And maybe that's how happy and successful relationships are made? So, don't be afraid to embrace your differences and find that one person who can make you better in all the right ways.

{The Couple Whisperer}
Many couples feel a little nervous or unsure when they are in front of the camera. But you don't have to be a pro at posing to have beautiful moments.
For me, the secret is creating a comfortable and relaxed environment. The real magic happens when couples let down their guards and let their love and connection shine through.
So don't sweat it if you're shy in front of the camera. I'm here to help you feel at ease and get those beautiful natural moments that show who you are as a couple.

{Secret Garden}
I love when couples say they don't know how to act in front of a camera. It's a blank slate that gets to be filled to show who they are as a couple.
Fresh from their Guo Da Li earlier in the day, TY & YJ brought me to a lovely spot they stumbled upon. YJ has the brightest smile and laughter; she's secretly the cheeky one in the relationship.

{Together with the Angs}
They say, "Marriage is hard work". And there's no easy way to sugarcoat it. If I'm being honest, getting married is easy; staying married is a whole new level.
But you know what? It's worth it! There's nothing more beautiful than building a life with someone you love and cherish.
Sure, there'll be tough times, but which relationship doesn't? It's how we navigate through those rough times that truly define the relationship. So, keep putting in the work, communicating, and showing your love.
The end reward is priceless.
{Grow old with you}
Mr and Mrs Ang's stories made me smile. Both of them look so cute together, don't you think so?
I've learnt that marriage requires a lot of patience, love, and understanding, but it can also be incredibly rewarding. Growing old with someone who knows you best and has seen you at your worst must be comforting.
It reminds you to cherish your time spent with your loved one.
{Gratitude}
Where do I begin? I love this shoot so much!
When we hear the word "Love", we usually envision a young couple. But capturing Mr and Mrs Ang was a breath of fresh air. I would say magical even!
What was it like? How did they meet?
I felt like I was transported back in time, imagining what they were like as a young couple as we laughed and joked together.
Thank you Daselin, for allowing me to photograph your Mom and Dad. I remember going home so happy.
I asked Das why she wanted me to photograph them in the first place, and she said,
"We only have one set of parents right??"
Couldn't agree more.
Drop me a DM if you'd want me to photograph your parents as well =)
{A Sky full of Stars}
Ever wonder what you'll remember from your wedding day 10, 20 years from now?
Well, the venue where you tied the knot might not even exist anymore. The details of your decor and bouquet might be hard to recall. And let's not forget about the food, what did you eat?
But you know what?, I bet what you'll remember what it was like being surrounded by the people you love.
Let's be real here, the day itself can feel like a whirlwind. With all the hustle and bustle of getting ready, saying your vows, and mingling with your guest, it can be hard to take it all in.
But the feelings of joy, love, and excitement that come from being surrounded by your nearest and dearest? That's the good stuff that sticks with you.
Whether your wedding is an intimate affair or a grand celebration, take a moment to soak in the love that's all around you. Because in the end, it's those feelings that will truly stand the test of time. Don't sweat the small stuff.

{Love on the weekend}
What an ideal combination. There's something so lovely about having an intimate wedding ceremony surrounded by the people you love and being able to speak from the heart.
I'd like to think that after all these years as a photographer, I've seen it all, from cringe-worthy to heartfelt moments. And for what it's worth, I want it to be as meaningful and authentic as possible for you while still allowing all things to flow naturally.

{It's me, hi, I'm the problem, it's me}
When it comes to posting about weddings on Instagram, I admit that I s̶o̶m̶e̶t̶i̶m̶e̶s̶ get stuck in the trap of overthinking and procrastinating. It can be hard to balance work and life as a one-man show, and "showing the work" often takes a back seat to editing. But I digress.
That said, I must tell you how amazing it was to photograph Vanessa and Miguel's wedding. Everything went smoothly, from getting ready, to the ceremony and the cosy lunch celebration at the end.
But I think what really made it stand out ,was the couple themselves.
After spending some time with Vanessa and Miguel before the wedding and getting to know them a bit better, I can confidently say they're the kind of people you'd like to be around.
They're cool, organized, and adventurous. Even their story of meeting at a pub/bar sounds like it came straight out of a movie. Definitely, a pleasure to be a part of their special day.

We ultimately hope that these captured memories take us back to beautiful moments we had.
{I got you}
R & A
The scenes in the afternoon reminded me of a Jack Johnson song.
"I got you
I got everything
I've got you
I don't need nothing
More than you
I got everything
I've got you"
