Lightedpixels Photography
I believe it is quite simple. Shoot with a happy heart! A multiple award winning brand that have inspired their peers as much as it has inspired their clients.
Lightedpixels provide wedding, family, maternity, events and individual portraits.
I have often been asked if it's necessary to have photos taken for a solemnisation at ROM. I do feel that it is! It is after all a significant occasion in your relationship.
Besides Fort Canning is always a lovely location for a portrait session after the ceremony.
Here are some images from Jazmin and Thomas's wedding solemnisation session at the Registry of Marriage. Thomas is French and incidentally I am in Paris right now for a short break and shoots later. ๐
Samuel's surprise proposal was about a year ago at St Regis where I had to pretend to be a food blogger taking pics of a setup nearby while the couple was going to have tea during which Samuel was going to propose. It was a success (obviously). Ha
That said, I got to know Samuel from shooting his sister's wedding and it was sweet. So, it was nice to see her and his family again.
The wedding was a simple sweet celebration at Min Jiang Dempsey. Lots of big laughter and emotive tears. โค๏ธ

I took up photography seriously as a hobby only at 28 years old. Funnily, wedding photography was the last genre of photography I took up. I tried street, fashion, macro, bird and even food photography before I stumbled on wedding photography. It's been life changing for me, an incredible journey so far and I wouldn't trade this for anything else in the world.
Sony recently came to me and shared with me their plans to host an event - The Alpha Sessions. The aim is to give back to the photography community. I am all for it! I have always appreciated any opportunity to mentor and share whenever I have the time.
I will be sharing what I hope would be useful insights into wedding and family photography. This talk is meant for all photographers. I am hoping it helps you with your own photography journey either as a hobbyist or professional. If you have been thinking of taking this up as a profession, or a business owner who is seeking success and longevity, or are simply curious about wedding and family photography, this would be useful for you.
Besides myself, there are a number of other amazing photographers and content creators who will also be sharing their insights into their field of expertise, including my dear old friend, Bryan van der Beek

I first shot for Mandy, Vincent and Yixin years ago in Perth. It was a fairy tale themed shoot and also with gowns. I remember being very impressed with the outfits they came up with. Needless to say, it was a very memorable shoot. I have included some images from that shoot here.
We have kept in touch after the Perth shoot and have had a number of family shoots since. When Mandy and Vincent suggested to me about shooting in the deserts of Dubai, I was obviously thrilled. I have only once shot in the desert. That was for Stephen and Doreen in Doha. That was 11 years ago!
Here are some images from our shoot. More to share in the coming days.
This year's travel plans. Opening for pre-wedding and family portraits. DM us to book a session.
19 straight years on Singapore Tatler's Best of Singapore list.
We are truly honored and thankful for this incredible run.
We have to thank the thousands of couples we have shot through the years. Thanks also to fellow industry partners for your never ending support and belief in what we do and who we are. Thank you all for your friendships.
Since day 1, it has always been about capturing images that are timeless, emotive and memorable. We will continue to do so and hopefully more. The drive is as strong today as it was when we first started 19 years ago.
This year is an exciting and defining year for us as we look to expand our business. It's a little scary of course, but we are glad and comforted to have your support. We promise to offer you more as we grow alongside you! ๐
In addition, our sister brand, was also awarded for Best in Portraits for the 4th year running! โค๏ธ
The final set of images from this lovely and memorable wedding. Celebrating dear Andy and Caitlan. And how loved they are.
A New Chapter!
Yesterday, we took over the keys to our brand new studio. I absolutely loved the space when I first saw it and after sharing it with the rest of the team, they were sold! Ha.
I am obviously thrilled and excited to have a space to not only house our Lightedpixels Photography family but also a space that will provide plenty of opportunities and possibilities for us.
This idea started a while back but crystallized after a discussion with dear Pris about 6 months ago.
Pris did the styling for my home and everyone loved it. She's an amazing talent and more importantly, has a very big heart. Over the past 4 years, I have been shooting the homes that she's done up. Our friendship grew and so did our mutual respect for each other. She is very supportive of this new project.
This space is a collaboration with Pris. It is a partnership that is dear to us. She will be using the space to showcase her talent and works. She will also be refreshing the space every few months.
It's now been 21 years since the Lightedpixels brand started. We have had a number of studios in the past but none were as big and we have never used any of the previous studios for shoots. We will be using this studio for shoots and because of its size and space, we will be exploring a number of other projects that we are all excited about, like hosting workshops and events.
As bare as it is now, we look forward to launching the space by the end of May. Pris says it's possible!
Meanwhile, if you have made it this far reading this, thank you! Hahah. Many of you here have journeyed with us for the past 10 years or more. You have seen us grow from having just Kyra to us having 5 kids! You have also shared in our family's joy and challenges. Beth and myself are always humbled by the many amazing friendships and loyalty. Thank you once again. โค๏ธ
And lastly, to and for being such good mates! We couldn't have come this far without you two!

More from Andy and wedding celebration. The prepping and the veiling after. Her parents were really sweet and you can tell how joyful they are.
Last call. We are headed to Kyoto next week for a couple of shoots and have one last slot available. If you are keen on a portrait session, DM us! It will be a blast.

How has everyone been??
Sorry I have not updated often enough. It's been a really busy period. I just got back from an amazing trip to Dubai for a shoot in the deserts. That was really memorable. Not just the shoot, but also the experience and the company I had. Will post some images in time. ๐
I have also been really busy on a project that we are working on. We are super excited about it. It's been a while since I have been this excited hahaha. Things are moving along well and I am super thankful for the support and love from our team and our close friends and vendors. I am deeply moved by your gestures. Again I will share more in time. Just need a little more time. Will definitely update and we will defintely share the joy and also let you rejoice with us.
Meanwhile, here is a recent set of images from dear Andy and Caitlan's wedding. It was a lovely wedding at Capella. Very beautiful and very touching.

Turn on the music cause this song is so special for us.
Two Sleepy People by Silje Nergaard. I think it's one of the most romantic songs ever. Glad to share it with more images from dear Jeannie and Yu Sheng's wedding at
Promising to post and share more.
And I know I sound like a broken record but this period is incredibly busy for us all. We are in the midst of the wedding season and I have been busy shooting, editing, travelling and falling sick. Ha. All said, I am better now. All prepared for three weddings in a row starting tomorrow. I do love the adrenaline and the rush. It's also interesting to me how every wedding is different and unique in their own ways.
Before the series of weddings, here is a set I would love to share from dear Jeannie and Yu Sheng's wedding. It was a beautiful celebration. โค๏ธ More images to come. Hopefully tomorrow! ๐
Last set of images from Kelvin and Shuyuan's wedding.
The first image is of the bride and groom's father right after the wedding. Shuyuan's dad got pretty emotional especially during and after Shuyuan's speech.

Our Story
Lightedpixels Photography was started from a passion and a belief that wedding photography can be more than just a documentation of the dayโs happenings. A belief that we are experiencing unions that will always be unique in their own way. A belief that every couple is different and has their own story to be told and shared. More importantly, a story that will inspire their loved ones in the years to come. We believe that photography is able to heal and connect people. It is with these beliefs that we set about doing what we love best - connecting with people and photographing them. Its not just about the images and moments we capture but also the experience we have along the way.
