It’s time to launch this seasons anaerobic honey Bourbon Rayado varietal from Las Brisas in Colombia. We find flavors notes of grapes, mandarin, and strawberry

It’s time to launch this seasons Sudan Rume varietal from our partner farm La Fortuna in Colombia. We have tested the washed processed version in the early part of this year. Now we are testing an Anaerobic washed version of the varietal. Here we find taste notes of green grapes, red flower, apricot and vanilla.

Roasting Masterclass is back again. The workshop is developed for the well-experienced as well as the less-experienced roasters. You will learn to fine-tune your current roasting approach and also honing your ability to make wiser judgement in creating a better balanced coffee

This natural processed Sudan Rume varietal from our partner producer farm Finca Bet-el in Colombia is back for the season.
We have been collaborating with Cesar and his family and we are thankful for their commitment.

This varietal is a rare ancient variety native to the Bourbon family, originally grown in South Sudan. It features clear notes of delicate florals and fruit-like soft citrus.

Most of our green coffee comes vacuum-packed. It is vital that our producer partners ensure that the beans are well rested and their water activity has been stabilized. This enables us a consistent quality over the time we roast each lot.

We are gearing up for the first Homebrewers edition of the Orea Brewdown 2024. The event is organized by 20grams Coffee Roastery.
Orea Brewdown Competition

This competition is made possible through partnership with our international and local partners: , , .uk, , .fee.
18 competitors will compete for the title of Orea Brewdown Champion. In the two rounds of competition, we will use a knockout round format. A third, random participant will get to compete with the 2 finalists for the Orea Brewdown Champion title.
The coffee will be chosen by us and will be washed or semi-washed processed. The focus is to highlight the brewing, not the green coffee.

In our coffee bar, most of our coffees have rested at least 14 days, and sometimes beyond 5 weeks. We have been emphasizing the importance of resting for a while. This often result in a very clean and complex cups with sufficient rest.
Our coffees are dense and high-grown, when roasted lightly, have a very hard and tight inner structure, resulting in a long de-gassing period. We recommend resting our coffees a minimum of 12 days, and we often find excellent results when coffees are rested beyond 5 weeks.
Our new production batches are in our retail and web shop. It is washed varietal Caturra Chiroso produced by Mildrey Montoya of La Arboleda in Colombia. We welcome our new producer into our family.
Expect taste notes of lemongrass, peach, golden apple, lemon.

Background
We are a Nordic-style specialty coffee roaster, coffee educator and retailer based in Singapore. 20grams coffee is dedicated to producing exceptional coffee. We take great pride in supporting and representing coffee producers and communities. We visit our producers each year, venture to their farms, homes and families. This is a relationship. We discover who they are, what motivates them and how we can support one another. Through this tangible form, we generate a mutual understanding and appreciation. These are the true rock stars of coffee, the story starts with the producer.
Our vision ensures that our direct involvement both financially supports and rewards the quality of coffee. The effect is twofold. This fosters improvements through farms reinvestment and infrastructure into equipment and facilities. Furthermore, this enhances the quality each harvest, contributing to the potential of higher coffee production. Purchasing both small (micro/nano lots) and large scale lots facilitates growth in higher production for producers and their supporting communities and networks.
We’re on a mission to craft roast and provide exceptionally great coffee. It’s a global mission really, starting with hand-selected, responsibly harvested prime beans from around the world and eco-friendly, small-batch roasting that assures rich, consistent flavor time after time.
