We are honoured to have received the Champion of Good award last month in July, the highest recognition given at this year’s Company of Good Conferment ceremony organised by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC). This award is a testament of our commitment in demonstrating exemplary multiplier efforts across five impact areas: Society, People, Governance, Environment, and Economy.

Mitsubishi Electric Asia stands among 78 organisations conferred the highest recognition of "Champion of Good" in the 2024 cohort. Aligned with our group's Corporate Purpose, we will continue to strengthen our path in integrating doing good in all of our initiatives so we can contribute to the realisation of a vibrant and sustainable society.

A vibrant bazaar was organised on 17 July 2024 to celebrate Racial Harmony Day! Our employees revelled in a delightful array of goods from local businesses, featuring a treasure trove of traditional treats from the Chinese, Malay, and Peranakan communities, as well as healthy snacks, drinks, and essential oils.

On 29th June 2024, Mitsubishi Electric Asia organised a relaxing and educational nature walk for our employees at the Ethnobotany Garden located at the Botanic Gardens to highlight the importance of conserving biodiversity.

Across the garden's four zones (Living, Craft and Construction, Symbolism and Medicinal), our employees explored diverse plant species with cultural significance in the Malay Archipelago, Indochina, and South Asia, discovering numerous plants traditionally used by indigenous communities for wild fruits and vegetables, crafts, construction, cultural ceremonies, and healing.

Through this walk, our employees not only learned how these plants have shaped cultures and societies but also gained a renewed appreciation for biodiversity and a reminder of our responsibility to protect it.

Bringing a buzz of excitement, Mitsubishi Electric Asia joined this year's Football With A Heart 2024 as a Silver Sponsor! 🏆⚽️. Our dedicated team of employee volunteers enthusiastically participated in this meaningful fundraiser, where thrilling sports meet the spirit of giving.

Beyond just sportsmanship, we were able to contribute and support a charitable cause for the benefit of organisations such as Arts & Disability Singapore, Loving Heart Multi-Service Centre, SportCares, iShine Cloud Limited and Touch Community Services.
