It's good to see the football team still using their pride jerseys. It goes to show how much of a failure it is to try to bully a football team.
We are very concerned that Jason Wong is posting pictures of adults and teenagers (children) wearing pride coloured football jerseys while apparently promoting discrimination against LGBTQ+ people by calling for LGBTQ+ people to not be visible. Jason Wong is also making inaccurate claims about puberty blockers which intend to deny children proper scientifically and medically valid care. Such messages are divisive and promote discrimination, they dehumanise people and promote violence against others. This is extremely worrying since he seems to be targeting the people in the photos, especially the children.
Yay! Now onwards to marriage equality, equality in housing, equality in the workplace.
Exactly a year ago, Section 377A was officially repealed in Singapore. The repeal was supported by 93 MPs after a 10-hour debate that showcased sometimes conflicting messages from politicians regarding our community. Parliament went on to back amendments preserving the existing marriage definition and various ministries/ politicians were quick to say they would maintain policies against LGBTQ+ equality.
As we mark this milestone, it’s crucial to acknowledge the
persisting obstacles and the long journey ahead for equality. Our community still faces disparities in health, economic outcomes, and overall well-being.
Reflecting on this day, do you recall your emotions, and what’s on your wishlist for the future?

Yap Kim Hao: Pastor of the marginalised This week, another member of Singapore's Pioneer Generation died and with his departure went a way of life of one who was a witness to the suffering and the marginalised.. Read more at straitstimes.com.
To me, Rev Yap represented a different way to be a man of faith. His faith was not lived within the church only; but out in the streets.

Here is the simple answer "Marketplace Professionals", real honest positive DEI (Diversity Equality Inclusion) in the workplace means being inclusive of LGBTQ+ people. It does not mean calling LGBTQ+ people "activists", it does not mean trying to belittle them, it does not mean trying to exclude them from places of work. It does not mean trying to debate their existence or organising "workshops" to talk against them. It really is that simple.

The well known hate group WAAPD now gets tricked by fake AI generated images and they get all outraged by something that never happened. Instead their posts just go to show their own twisted thoughts.

Pope Francis suggests gay couples could be blessed in Vatican reversal Conservative cardinals had challenged the pope to confirm teachings on LGBTQ+ issues
Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
It was reported that NTU made several comments about the drag "getai" performance recently.
Those statements are terribly discriminatory because they seek to deny a minority visibility, employment, and representation entirely because of who they are. That discrimination is compounded by the claim about "social norms and practices".
We are well aware of an organised campaign against LGBTQ+ people by known discriminatory sources, for example the "We Are Against Pink Dot" hate group and the so called "protectSG" groups, but their claims are horrible and discriminatory and their communications should have been met by firm responses about inclusivity, not "norms and practices".
Such discriminatory claims and views should have been reported to the police for investigation since they promote ill will against LGBTQ+ people, they should not be given any kind of consideration.
Such a response by your university diminishes and detracts from your establishment.
We would like to see your commitment to inclusivity and equality by a public statement retracting your previous discriminatory statements on this matter. Will you do that?
"In line with the times, the public can expect arts performances in the public and education space that touch on themes relating to the le***an, gay, bis*xual, transgender and q***r (LGBTQ) community."
The discriminatory haters however very loudly KPKB about LGBTQ+ people being visible in public. Our message to the discriminatory haters is close your eyes one, your hateful views are not needed thanks.
LGBTQ-themed arts performances in public spaces in line with the times: National Arts Council chief SINGAPORE — While heartland "getai" shows typically showcase live performances of Mandarin and Hokkien music, a crowd at Gillman Barracks on Friday night (Sept 29) was treated to a different version of it.
If you spend your time running "closed door events to raise concerns about LGBTQ+ people" then you're not a good person. If you "disagree about LGBTQ+ people in the name of protecting the family" you're not a good person. If you "deliberately misgender transgender people" you're not a good person. You're a bully if you do any of these things.

In 2023, Not Being Homophobic Isn’t Enough You don't get a gold star for not using 'gay' as an insult. Being an ally means actually showing up for the LGBTQ+ community.
Jason Wong and others were spreading these fake "science" sources, like Quentin van Meter, those sources are actually proven to be false discrimination. Before Jason's "webinar" he was warned repeatedly that his source is debunked and fake and Jason still went ahead with it.

Hong Kong's top court rules in favour of same-s*x civil unions HONG KONG: Hong Kong's top court ruled on Tuesday (Sep 5) in favour of same-s*x partnerships including civil unions but stopped short of granting full marriage rights in a partial win for the city's le***an, gay, bis*xual, transgender and q***r (LGBTQ) community. Recently the so called "ProtectSingapore" group and the known hate group "WAAPD" tried to get their followers to support TKL while making discriminatory claims against Tharman and members of the LGBTQ+ community. (Documented in previous posts). Such divisive content instigates harm against people and society as a whole.
Those harmful, discriminatory, and divisive attempts actually demonstrates an urgent need for President-elect Tharman to help with better equality and protection of these minorities. The very low level of support for TKL also demonstrates that their divisive message of discrimination is a failure, which means that President-elect Tharman can safely ignore their discriminatory demands.
This would logically mean protection for same-s*x parents and their families, it would also mean same-s*x marriage given equal legal standing, just like how transgender people already have. This would be the right thing to do, to help progress society and protect minorities. It can be done as part of the President's remit to promote diversity and equality of people in society.
It should be obvious that making comments about "pretty girls" and seeing people of particular race on public transport do not protect people and do not protect families, that they harm people and harm families. It's terrible how certain people flocked to support a particular candidate just because they think one of them made homophobic comments against the LGBTQ+ community. (Or just because a candidate demonstrated more inclusive attitudes to the LGBTQ+ community.) To openly align with offensive discriminatory rhetoric demonstrates a failure of proper moral values, since such views incite against a particular group of people, and that would be working against people and society. It would be working against the values of inclusivity and diversity.
We think, such obvious discriminatory views would drive voters away from their cause and away from their preferred candidate, because we believe Singaporeans are better than what they think.
Why does Eugene Lim complain about a more inclusive society by posting in the known hate group WAAPD? More inclusive is better obviously! Legalising same s*x marriage is inclusive and better obviously! Inclusivity is nothing to be afraid of Eugene. Don't be like Eugene, be better than Eugene.
Being supportive and affirming is very important for mental health. Deliberately misgendering someone or calling them "confused" is bullying, it harms their mental health.

Of course the WAAPD hate group posts pictures and comments that are s*xist and objectify women, which rather proves the point that they are promoting harmful ideas and discrimination.
It's no surprise the bigots are trying very hard to get these shows cancelled...
The real concern is that hate comments in the well known infamous hate group "We Are Against Pink Dot" were inciting and threatening harm by trying find out where the flat was and who was living there.
