Velmi nás těší, že můžeme přiblížit českou literaturu našim krajanům v Singapuru! Minulý týden jsme si užili skvělý večer s odbornicí na historii a českou literaturu Kateřinou Vavřincovou. Poznali jsme aktuální trendy, nahlédli do světa menších nakladatelství a získali skvělé tipy na oceněné knihy. Děkujeme Kateřině za přínosnou prezentaci a všem zúčasněným za zajímavou diskuzi. Těšíme se na další podobná setkání.

🇨🇿 Our Czech Embassy team, led by Ambassador Michaela Froňková, proudly participated in the 23rd Ambassador’s Cup on November 2nd at Changi Sailing Club. ⛵️ Sailing aboard “Sirius Omega,” under the expert guidance of Captain Mr. Eugene Wong and his crew, we embraced a day full of team spirit and excitement.

Since its inception in 1999, the annual Ambassador's Cup has united the diplomatic and sailing communities in Singapore, fostering international friendships through a day of spirited competition and celebration. We extend our gratitude to the organizers and sponsors for making this event truly memorable.

We have a new intern!

Kateřina Leksová, a fourth-year student at Mendel University, specializing in International Studies, arrived in to begin her two-month internship. Kateřina is focusing on gaining practical experience through professional internships, aiming to further develop her expertise in international relations.

She has already completed four internships in international relations in 🇵🇪, 🇮🇱, the 🇵🇭, and 🇪🇸, gaining valuable experience across different cultural and political landscapes.

And why did Kateřina choose us for her internship? "Singapore assumes significant role in the international relations in the Asia-Pacific region. During my internship, I aim to gain valuable experience in diplomacy and better understand the building of relationships between Czechia and the whole APAC region."

This bussiness cocktail reception was held at the Conrad Hotel as an integral part of Speaker Markéta Pekarová Adamová’s visit, with the presence of Singapore Speaker Seah Kian Peng.
