𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲
In an afternoon of cultural appreciation, we celebrated Racial Harmony Day with an engaging quiz session! Beaconites gathered to ask and answer questions about cultural traditions from Malay, Indian, Chinese, and Filipino communities. In the spirit of true learning, no “Googling” was allowed. It was all about sharing knowledge and experiences face-to-face.

To top off our cultural exploration, we finished the Q&A with a fun and insightful lesson on how to tie the traditional Indian saree. It was a wonderful way to appreciate the mastery and craft of a timeless tradition and end the day on a fruitful note.

The Beacon team was excited for the day where creativity met nature! Our terrarium workshop represented the perfect soil for planting seeds of teamwork and sprouting new ideas. Much like the resilience of the self-sustaining ecosystem of the terrariums that we built, so was the opportunity to solidify our bonds, grow as one team and “bloom” for future success!

For Beaconites, it was an event to remember! Our Dinner and Dance was a night that infused our souls with music, dance, and great food, lingering in our hearts for weeks to come. Its flavours echoed in our minds, replaying the memories again and again. We journeyed down memory lane through rose-tinted glasses, reminiscing about the milestones that shaped us. For the founders, it was a poignant reflection on their remarkable journey. That unforgettable evening will forever hold a cherished place in our memories. Happy 25 years Beacon!

As we reach this incredible milestone of 25 years, we’re grateful to commemorate this occasion with seniors from Lions Befrienders. We were privileged to have been part of a succulent planting workshop where Beaconites partnered with seniors to create amazing masterpieces and memories.

Here's to another month of celebration during which we awarded the 5th and 6th prizes as part of our 25th Anniversary lucky draw! Thank you for being a vital part of our journey. The captivating journey of our 25th Anniversary celebrations continues to unfold! This time Beaconites took a walk for charity and gave a meaningful initiative to our Southern Islands tour. We participated in the NTUC FairPrice Walk for Rice @ South East CDC where for every 300 metres of walking or running, the FairPrice Foundation will donate one bowl of white rice, one bowl of brown rice and one bowl of oatmeal to a vulnerable family residing in the South East District.

Congrats to our teams that clocked the equivalent of a resounding 139 bowls! We then celebrated our purposeful strides with a morning of fun and games followed by a sumptuous Christmas lunch. Shout out to the team that laced up, stepped out and made the most difference!
