It was a heck of a grind last week as we completed 4 workshop days amongst other client commitments.

But we were proud of how our latest context simulation, The Kailash Odyssey, turned out for both a 20- and 50-participant session for our clients at and in the same week.

This is a re-iteration and update of our previous mountain-themed learning activity, The Annapurna Team Ascent.

With in-built learning objectives such as leadership and decision-making, we were so surprised at the energy levels that were brought out through this intense exercise.

That was a question we got from a client last week.

Truthfully, gamifying learning (as an example) is a rather structured process.

If we can let one little cat (just one) out of our bag ๐Ÿ˜‰ , we apply Nir Eyal's Hook Model extensively to design intricate activities for our mostly corporate participants to learn almost anything, be it leadership, collaboration, service excellence, systems thinking etc., experientially.

Almost a year ago, we were flown into Jakarta to conduct a full-day kick-off session with the Top 1% of .

And just last week, we had another privilege conducting yet another kick-off programme in Indonesia's sprawling capital city. This time with the Top 1% of Singapore's leading telecommunications conglomerate, .

With more than 200 high-profile participants from all of the organisation's regional business units at , , and more, it was surreal and albeit nerve-wrecking to say the least ๐Ÿ˜…

Nonetheless, to think that we were in the company of and leading an experiential learning session with the highest echelons of Singtel has been the highlight of our work so far this year.

For the past month right after the Lunar New Year was nothing short of a marathon.

13 workshop days in 17 days was more than a little crazy.

(2 more to go....)

But the most memorable project was an organisation development programme we undertook with Kampong Kapor Community Services - a social service organisation which we thoroughly profiled with Emergenetics via four full-day workshops.

This was finally followed up by a fitting townhall session that anchored their core values via experiential activities.

To us, social work is more than a job.

It's a calling.

And I feel tremendous gratitude in having done a small part building a positive organisational culture in one of Singapore's foremost family services centres.
