Dear patients, I'm not sure where you guys are getting the wrong information from. Our clinic is definitely not a psychiatrist clinic, and we definitely cannot freely prescribe benzodiazepines, more commonly known as sleeping tablets.

For example, xanax (alprazolam), diazepam (va**um), zopiclone, zopiderm, etc. If you come down to ask for these medications, you will be charged a consultation and still not get the medications that you think you need.

What we can do however, is to treat the underlying cause to your problem, with other medications, or psychotherapy or run some tests.

So, if you only want sleeping medication and no other treatment, please go to a psychiatrist clinic to save yourself some frustration.

However, if really want to treat the root problem, you are welcome to come.

We are writing to inform you that, effective from 1 June 2023, we will be raising our consult prices by $2. We understand that this news may come as a surprise, but we hope to explain our reasoning and assure you that we remain committed to providing you with the highest quality healthcare services.

Since the opening of the clinic in 2014, our consult fee has remained the same, while every year there is an inflation on the cost of doing business. As you may be aware, the cost of doing business in Singapore has increased significantly in recent years. We have absorbed these additional costs for as long as we can, but unfortunately, we can no longer sustain this without making adjustments to our pricing structure. We have carefully reviewed our expenses, and we have concluded that a price increase of $2 is necessary to continue to provide the level of care and service that our patients deserve.

We understand that healthcare costs are a concern for many people, and we want to emphasize that we remain dedicated to providing affordable and accessible care to our patients. We are committed to keeping our prices as reasonable as possible while also ensuring that we can continue to provide the high standard of care that our patients expect from us.

Did you know that screen time could be harmful for your children?

Today the government released new guidelines on screen time for kids. < 18months: no screen time, 1.5 to 6 years old: 1 hour daily. > 7 years old, plan a good schedule.

Control Screen Time for Children | Zenith Medical Children below 18 months should have no screen time at all. 15 to 6 years old, limit to less than 1 hour daily. 7 to 12 years old, need to discuss with the child to come up with a timetable that balances screen time with other healthy activities.

Here's why you will want to do your Lasting Power of Attorney this week -->

1/ You will keep putting it off since "it's never gonna happen to me".

Usually those that do the LPA will end up not using it, while those who didn't do will have to get a court order which is troublesome and expensive.

2/ You should do it when you are of sound mind, it is much cheaper and easier.

When the mental capacity is questionable, more tests need to be run, to be able to certify.

3/ Everyone needs it.

4/ The OPG is not charging you any money for singaporeans only, until end of march!!
