Our Story

Inspired by Bali and Ibiza, Baliza designs timeless, sustainable clothing that is both confortable and elegant, perfect for summer living. Baliza was ideated in Singapore in 2012 by Gema Santander, with the mission of consciously designing confortable beach wear collections that are ethically made whilst supporting communities of women and children living in poverty.

BALIZA produces its own resort clothing label in Ladli, the vocational centre of i-india. Ladli is a social enterprise, which is empowering youth and women at risk through skill training, education, financial inclusion and livelihood opportunities.

Social responsibility

We support organisations and people who help kids and women in the poorest regions of Asia.

BALIZA currently supports i- india a well established Jaipur based NGO which reaches out to over 3,000 street children daily, offering food, accommodation, education, vocational training, counselling and lots of affection. i-india is a safe haven offering children much needed opportunities for a happy, fulfilling and independent future.

We would like to help to highlight the plight of Indian street children and promote awareness to all sections of the community including children in schools.
