The documentary film "Ambassador of Remembrance" tells the moving story of Stanisław Zalewski.

In September 1943, 17-year-old Stanisław was arrested as a member of the Little Sabotage group in Warsaw and sent to the Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp. From there, he was transferred to the Mauthausen concentration camp and its subcamp, Gusen, in Upper Austria.

Like many other victims of N**i terror, Zalewski remained silent about his painful experiences for a long time, only starting to speak about them over forty years later.

Now, at 99 years old, he continues to share his story. "Ambassador of Remembrance is the first full-length documentary to tell the powerful story of his life.

Met Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, and exchanged views on regional and international developments. Last year I had visited Poland which shares a border with Ukraine. It was useful to have an update and listen to Min Sikorski’s important perspective on the ongoing war. The conflicts in other parts of the world are a powerful reminder never to take the peace and stability that we enjoy for granted. I wish Minister Sikorski a productive visit.

🇵🇱 Minister Radosław Sikorski and the Prime Minister of Singapore 🇸🇬 Lawrence Wong discussed global security and strengthening economic and investment cooperation, especially in the new technologies sector. They emphasised that the global order should be based on law and norms, not war.

🇵🇱 Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski met with Teo Chee Hean, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security of Singapore. The ministers discussed the security situation in Europe, the Middle East and the Indo-Pacific region, as well as the intensifying neocolonial trends.

, 130 years ago Kazimierz Wierzyński, 🇵🇱 distinguished poet, novelist, and essayist, died.
He was co-founded and a member of the Skamander - a group of top literary personalities in the interwar period in Poland. He earned recognition for his profound contributions to literature and his remarkable achievement of winning the gold medal at the literary competition of the IX Summer Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928.

After WWII, he remained an influential figure in the Polish diaspora, continuing to engage with cultural and political issues through his writing and radio broadcasts.

In 2024, the Polish Sejm will honour his contributions by designating the year as the Year of Kazimierz Wierzyński.

in 1939 the Soviet Union and N**i Germany signed in Moscow the non-aggression treaty along with a secret additional protocol that divided central and eastern Europe into ‘spheres of interest’. As a result of this mutual agreement between two totalitarian regimes, WWII broke out a week later. Poland found itself under German and Soviet occupation from September 1939, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Romanian Bessarbia were forcefully annexed to the Soviet Union in June 1940.
