🌟 The best skills to have for an interview 🌟

1. Showing a level or preparedness for a certain interview. This is not about studying the company but about just having real understanding of how a company makes money and how your role adds value in the process. How you are going to help a company create bigger value within your role.

2. Being an active listener. People get nervous during interview and many times they stop listening. They stop noticing what really makes sense to answer in an interview -you have to be able to adapt during an interview. Being able to adapt in an interview is important.

3. Have an understanding what is important to answer in questions and what to tell in the story. Understanding the beginning, middle and the end of the interview is key. Being able to answer good details while still have concise answers in questions without getting off the path or rambling.

📍Listen actively

📍Understand the highlights in the story and what to include and lead out while you are answering

🧐 Advice: practice with multiple interviews and you will see the difference and how you feel in the interviews.

🧠 IQ vs. EQ: What's More Important?

🕵🏻‍♀️ Human intelligence is complex. What's more important in determining overall life success—book smarts or street smarts? Is it Cognitive intelligence (IQ) or emotional intelligence (EQ)?

📌 For many decades, researchers have relied on IQ tests to measure both what people know and how quickly they can solve problems using reasoning. But IQ tests alone don’t necessarily account for the full range of your thinking abilities. They don’t always predict success in school, life or business.

☝🏼 In more recent times, researchers have expanded the definition of intelligence to include a wider set of skills. The concept of EQ or EI (Emotional Intelligence) has emerged as a way to describe another set of thinking skills. Emotional intelligence refers to your ability to recognize and regulate emotion and your ability to use social awareness in problem-solving.

🤝 IQ tests and EQ tests together may give researchers a fuller picture of human intelligence. 🧩
