Črna Prst is a popular hiking destination above Bohinjska Bistrica / Podbrdo, and also a place you can start a ridge hike towards Vogel and onwards to Triglav Lakes, finishing at Vogar and thus completing the almost full circle around Bohinj lake in the Julian Alps
