Our mission is to foster respect, esteem, and equal access to legal aid for everyone, irrespective of their nationality, race, or sexual orientation. Together, we hope to embrace the journey towards inclusivity, justice, and the rights for everybody.

So how do we do this in practice?
One example is being part of Vacuumlabs’s empowering initiative LGBT+ Lab, dedicated to improving the lives of the LGBT+ population in Slovakia.

This platform strives to create a better and more equal society through legal support: valuable tips on navigating same-sex partnership laws, a set of forms for specific legal cases or requesting to change a last name.

Whether we are talking about the LGBT+ community within our company, or friends and family members, we feel that our society should be able to provide everyone equally with a safe and accepting environment, where basic human and civil rights are respected. Now is the right time to take a clear position on how we want Slovakia to be shaped. To show our support, Vacuumlabs, alongside many inspiring companies in Slovakia, is joining the initiative "Ide nám o život” - the aim of which is to help the LGBT+ community, their children, friends and families to live in safety, acceptance and equality in our homeland 🏳️‍🌈.

We are also endorsing the requirements of the initiative to the government and parliament of Slovakia, you can find them below in

➡️prijatie zákona o životnom partnerstve, vrátane možnosti osvojenia dieťaťa jedného z partnerov druhým partnerom,
➡️zabezpečenie dôstojnej medicínskej tranzície pre transrodových ľudí bez vynútených sterilizácií a iných nevyžiadaných lekárskych zákrokov,
➡️vymedzenie sa voči šíreniu nenávisti zo strany politikov a zavedenie disciplinárnej zodpovednosti za takého výroky v parlamente,
➡️konkrétne kroky na zefektívnenie činnosti orgánov činných v trestnom konaní pri stíhaní trestných činov z nenávisti a predchádzaní takýmto trestným činom,
➡️systematickú podporu vytvárania bezpečných priestorov a podporných služieb (školy a vzdelávacie inštitúcie, komunitné centrum v Bratislave a podpora služieb na celom Slovensku)
