About us
Al-Aqsa international schools are schools located in the European side of Istanbul, Turkey. The schools are well-established and unique schools found in the region. The languages being taught are English and Arabic as well as Turkish. The schools are accredited by the Turkish government as well as the American Curriculum is accredited by AdvancED. The different curricula are provided in well-established and suitable environments using minds-on and hands-on activities with the aid of many helpful utilities and facilities. The teachers are qualified and show high responsibilities in delivering the curricula since they use different methods of skillful teaching as well as different types of summative and formative assessments. In addition, they ensure cooperative learning and developing the social skills for students. The facilities provided for students help them engage and motivate them to be hard workers. Students learn in an environment that allows them to practice in real life since they use IT laboratories and science laboratories of different branches. When reaching the high school, American school students will be able to apply to Standard American Test (SAT) that will allow them to apply to different colleges and universities in the region or in different regions. The schools ensure that the students learn holy-Quran and Islamic studies in addition to basic subjects or courses. Besides, other subjects are taught that are interactive and fun for most of the students such as Arts and Physical education. The schools provide social counselor and psychological counselor in addition to a doctor that stay in schools to serve all the students and staff members.
