Last night, I had the distinct honour to speak about and the vaccine to our Central-Based Primary Care Physicians.

The level of discussion stimulated was fantastic. In addition to imparting them with information, I learned so much from my colleagues with their years of experience.

To be spoken of highly by the former Dean of my Faculty, Professor Terence Seemungal, was the "big up" of the century for me. Almost had tears in my eyes.

The food at was on point.

Extremely grateful for the opportunity to have spoken about Diabetic Neuropathy (nerve damage) at the Carlton Phillip Diabetes Symposium last month.

It was a very well organized event hosted by (the Diabetes Association of Trinidad and Tobago). They are doing a magnificent job trying to keep diabetes from ravaging it's dastardly effects on the population. If you are diabetic, it's a good idea to join them.

Looking forward to working closer with them in the new year.

I got to meet up with my colleagues from my Alma Mata, the Calgary Stroke Program.

My boss, Professor Michael Hill, was given the Order of Canada for his tireless dedication to continued excellence in stroke care.

My other boss, Professor Andrew Demchuk, was pivotal in me coming back home to elevate the status of Stroke care in Trinidad and Tobago.

Their boss, Professor Alastair Buchan, was the original inventor of the Alberta Stroke Protocol Early CT Score (ASPECTS) which is backbone of all further stroke imaging scoring systems.

In the last picture is the President-elect of the World Stroke Organization, Professor Jeyaraj Pandian.

Ready to utilize all of the information I've learnt there to help deliver better quality stroke care to Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean.
