We have always listened to everyone’s feedback, so we’ve continued to improve and optimize our fulfillment process, as well as communicating closely with our courier partners. Today, we officially launched the long-awaited SF Express Freight Collect service!

Before September 30, simply pick up your shipment at a SF station or an EF Locker to enjoy a self-pickup discount of up to $10. All masklab guests can enjoy the same discount - just enter the SF station or EF Locker number in the address box.

【🎊KF For Sale Again with New Colorways 🎊】

Time flies - it has been two months since we first launched masklab’s Korean-style Respirators (KF Series). During this period, we’ve been constantly developing and improving the product. Today, we are pleased to announce that the KF series is now once again available for sale!

This time, in addition to the 6 original colorways (white, black, pink, purple, turquoise, camouflage), we also welcome the addition of 3 new styles: Purple Camouflage, Grey Camouflage and Purple Diamond. As with all our patterned masks, they are printed with UL-certified non-toxic and azo-free pigments, ensuring safety.

Take a look at the photos. Notice any difference? Yep, we have redesigned the ultrasonic roller mold. Now, not only do the KF respirators bear the masklab logo, but all their edge welding points have also been changed: from the original acne-like circles to the now cleaner rectangles. All KF series masks sold from this point forward will use this new design.

Sales Details:

In the first month of our original launch, the sales method was “first-come-first-served.” However, due to demand far exceeding our production capacity, many people were unable to purchase quickly enough before products sold out, resulting in a bad purchasing experience. Therefore, starting in August, we started to sell the KF series through our lottery system. The first round of this Lucky Draw event was very successful. Within one month, not only did we successfully ship out orders to all the winners, but we were also able to take care of everyone who did not win a ticket due to our increase in production capacity.

For this reason, we have decided to once again utilize our Lucky Draw system for this round of sales. We’ve also made a big improvement this time: when it’s your time to pay, you may choose to add other non-KF masks to combine into one shipment, to save on shipping. Starting at 10pm tonight, everyone will have 72 hours to register on https://lucky-draw.masklab.hk. No need to rush: there is absolutely no difference in how quickly you register. Everyone gets a fair shot at buying the KF Series. For first-timers, the rules are simple: if you win a ticket number, that is your position in the queue to checkout and pay. You will not need to pay until it is your turn in the queue. Once you pay, your order will be shipped out within 2 working days. We have never failed this promise. So if you are among the first 1000 tickets, expect to receive your masks as early as next Monday.

Full Lucky Draw Rules:
- Registration for the draw will start at 22:00 on Monday, August 31, and end at 21:59 on Thursday, September 3 (72 hours)
- The lucky draw website is: https://lucky-draw.masklab.hk
- Learning from last round’s experience, we will allocate 20,000 tickets numbers for our queue, which equates to approximately one month of production capacity
- You will enter your name, phone number, email and your desired products in order to enter the draw. The products you choose do not affect your chances
- Each phone number and email can only be registered once
- Each registration has an 8-box limit. You may choose any combination of colorways
- Once submitted, your registration cannot be changed. If you successfully draw a ticket number, you will be give ONE chance to change your order
- Anyone can register, but if you participated in the previous round of lottery, first time registrations will be given priority over yours
- The scalper’s blacklist is still in effect, all accounts on the blacklist will not be able to participate in this draw
- If the final number of registrants exceeds 20,000, then the un-assigned entries will automatically roll over and have priority in our next event.

Lucky Draw Result:
- After the registration period ends, registrations will be randomized and 20,000 registrations will each be assigned a ticket number, from #20001 to #40000. This will be your position in the queue.
- You will be notified of your result via email within 24 hours after the registration period ends, regardless of whether you won a ticket number or not
- In addition to email notifications, participants can also check the draw results on the KF Lucky Draw website: https://lucky-draw.masklab.hk
- Purchasing link will be released to the first batch of ticket holders within 24 hours after the results of the draw

Purchase Links:
- We will release purchase links according to the production progress. You will be notified via email when it is your turn to pay. The link must be used within a week or it will expire
- From our experience in the previous, approximately 5,000 tickets are released for purchase every week
- You can choose to add other non-KF products to your cart at the time of purchase
- Once the order is successfully placed, like any masklab orders, the products will ship out within 2 working days
- We intend to release all 20,000 tickets within one month

Differences from the previous round:
- The registration timeframe has been increased from 24 hours to 72 hours due to many people finding out too late last time
- In order to prevent scalpers from selling tickets, the quantity and style of KF can only be changed ONCE after ticket distribution
- Due to popular demand, other products can now be added to the cart during checkout
- The purchase link expiration is reduced to one week

If you toured our factory in June, you may have seen members of our team wearing red-to-blue gradient masks. This is because since the very beginning, we have always wanted to use the ombré effect of our logo to create a unique mask design that’s masklab-exclusive.

As a made-in-Hong-Kong mask company, our philosophy is to synergize traditional manufacturing technology with the latest e-commerce technology. To us, the ombré effect with strong contrasting colors of pink and blue best represents tech innovation aesthetically, and so we applied it to our logo icon during the design process. We’ve dubbed this design the masklab™ Signature Twilight Ombré. In the future, we hope to continue to innovate and develop more mask designs to add to this traditionally boring product category, to fulfill the needs of our new normal.

In the past two months, we have gone through many rounds of sampling and testing. Our team was finally satisfied with the results two weeks ago and officially started production then. Tonight, we are very excited to announce that the masklab™ Signature Twilight Ombré 3-ply Surgical Mask is officially available for sale! The mask design perfectly matches our logo colors, with the gradient starting as red on the top and ending with blue on the bottom. As with all our surgical masks, the masklab™ Signature Twilight Ombré mask has attained the highest EU medical mask standard of EN14683 Type IIR. We also recently received a 99% PFE report from Nelson Labs. In addition, we use UL-certified non-toxic and azo-free pigments for dyeing, so everyone can wear our masks with peace of mind. For the first time, we will launch 25-pack individually-wrapped and 50-pack non-individually-wrapped packaging at the same time, so you may have more options from the get-go.

All 3-ply surgical masks will restock tonight, Friday, 31st of July, 2020, at 7pm. ��Along with the restock, we will also be launching the non-individually-wrapped version (50-pack) of orange and camouflage 3-ply surgical masks due to their popularity. They are priced at $148 and $158 per box respectively, and there is a 4-box limit for orange masks, and a 2-box limit for camouflage masks. Don’t miss it!

【Latest information on KF Lucky Draw, please read thoroughly】

Hello everyone, many of you should have received your lucky draw results via email or SMS. Since this is the first time we’ve sent tens of thousands of emails in one day, our email service provider had put a temporary hold on our account yesterday, which has since been released. In addition, our system found that 1% of emails had obvious typos during registration (gmail.com was entered as gmail.con, yahoo.com.hk was entered as yahoo.com.hl, etc.). In these cases, you would not receive an email and the lucky draw webpage (https://lucky-draw.masklab.hk) would also show an error. We have corrected these emails one by one today. By this morning, f you haven't received any SMS or email notifications, and you can't find your entry on https://lucky-draw.masklab.hk, it is very likely that you entered both your phone number and email incorrectly during registration. This situation is very rare. If you encounter it, please email us at [email protected] with the subject "Incorrect registration information for lucky draw“ with your correct information in the email body. We will assist you as soon as possible.

In addition, we have received many questions on how to pay. Please note: We have not sent any payment links yet. One more time for clarity: We have not sent any payment links yet! !

As a reminder on the lucky draw rule: The ticket number you received represents your position in the queue. We will starting opening up tickets for purchase in the order of the ticket numbers. The ticket numbers start at #10001 and end at #20,000. Our goal is to fulfill all tickets within one month. Since we at masklab insist on taking payment only when stock is available, you will only receive your payment when it’s your turn to pay. After thoroughly reviewing our past few KF restocking events, we have concluded that the “first-come-first-served” approach does not result in a good purchasing experience. We wanted to implement a new system where we can minimize stress and disappointment while making the process as fair as possible. Since the beginning, we at masklab have insisted on only selling in-stock items, because we firmly believe that minimizing the time between paying for and receiving the product is the key to a successful purchasing experience. By designing this lucky draw queuing system, we are able to preserve this belief while vastly improving the purchasing experience.

1. The registration will begin at 18:00 Sunday, 26 July, 2020 and end at 17:59 Monday, 27 July, 2020 （24 hours.)

2. We will release 10,000 tickets numbers for our queue, which equates to approximately one month of production capacity.

3. You will enter your name, phone number, email and your desired products in order to enter the draw. The products you choose do not affect your chances.

4. For logistical reasons, you may only choose KF Series and we cannot combine your KF orders with any 3-ply surgical orders.

5. Each registration has an 8-box limit. You may choose any combination of colors.

6. If you have purchased more than 2 KF masks in the last 14 days, other registrations will take priority over yours - meaning, if the final registration exceed our allocated numbers, you will not receive a ticket number

7. We have done some internal investigations and have blacklisted many scalpers. Blacklisted scalpers will not be allowed to participate in this lucky draw.

8. After the registration period ends, registrations will be randomized and 10,000 registrations will each be assigned a ticket number, from #10001 to #20000. This will be your position in the queue.

9. If our final registration count exceeds 10,000 - then the un-assigned registrations will automatically roll over and have priority in our next event.

10. Within 12 hours after registration ends, you will receive your result via SMS and E-mail.

11. Depending on production capacity, we will release 1000 ticket numbers every 2-3 days. The winners will receive a direct link to place order. The link must be used within 2 weeks or will expire.

12. Once you successfully place the order, like any masklab orders, the products will ship out within 2 working days.

13. We intend to release all 10,000 tickets within one month, hopefully sooner.

【Tomorrow (Saturday) Noon: 3-Ply Surgical Mask Restock Event】
All 3-ply surgical masks will restock tomorrow, Saturday, 25th of July, 2020, at noon. Along with the restock, we will also launch our long-awaited child size 3-ply surgical masks in 3 colors: white, purple and pink. They will all come in 50-packs, non-individually-wrapped, starting at $138 / box. The child size masks are 130mm x 90mm and fit children from age 4 to 9 (our child model is 8 years old.) The mask materials are the same as our adult ones, attaining the highest highest EU standard of EN 14683 Type II R. The machine is from the same company, NCM, in Taiwan. The current embossed logo still says “3i” because the machine was ordered in April. We hope to have the masklab logo on it in the near future.

For KF Series: We understand that many of you are anxiously waiting for the next restocking event. Since many customers have been unable to buy them for many rounds and the large traffic spike has resulted in bad purchasing experiences, we have decided to implement a lucky draw function to promote fairness and prioritize those who have not been able to purchase thus far. This will be for the KF masks only, and hope to resume selling regularly on our website once again when our production capacity finally meets the demand. We expect this to be ready on Sunday.
