Since 1993, the UN has designated Mar. 22nd as World Water Day
This year theme is "Water for Peace", as the global water scarcity issue becomes increasingly severe, it's essential to raise awareness and cherish our water resource.

💪At New Wide Group, we've been taking concrete actions on water resource management for many years! Our factories have had wastewater treatment and recycle system since 2010. 💦
By treating and reusing wastewater generated during the production process, we achieve recycling and reduce the environmental impact of our operations.🌎

During event, the foods, fruits and gifts were prepared and there were also singing and games competitions. All employees were very happy and warmth. Through this activity, we hope to relieve work pressure and strengthen cohesion of employees.🎉

New Wide hosts 2023 Sustainable Summit

In line with SDG Goal 17 of "Building Partnerships for Sustainable Development," New Wide collaborates with Business Council for Sustainable Development (BCSD-Taiwan) , the Taiwan Textile Federation, and the Textile Industry Research Institute to organize the "NEW VISION･THINK WIDE" 2023 Sustainable Summit. Attendees from the textile and apparel supply chain, consumer livelihood, startups, and industries come together to create a sustainable future for the industry.

The thematic panel and Q&A session are hosted by Sunny Huang , Executive Director of New Wide, with Hanes Yang , Chief Sustainability Officer , Professor Liu Wan-Yu from the Department of Forestry at Chung Hsing University, and Elisa Chiu, CEO of Anchor Taiwan, participating in the discussion. The session covers interdisciplinary exchanges on digital transformation in traditional industries, carbon trading and forest conservation, and ESG investing.
