For quite a long time, music was our business ( Xzone International) . Yes it was /is our bread and butter. The one thing we noticed while we were doing business was the fact that actually Uganda had so many talented artists that needed some degree of Management. We tried to give it a try but it wasn’t a walk in the park. But all in all, we manoeuvred.

What mostly lacked was the production, branding and marketing of the various artists and their works. Even us that tried to invest , it wasn’t easy . Generally Investing in Music quite became a gamble coupled with a lack of trust from the Artists.

I am currently thrilled by how the Industry is rolling. The massive live performances, gigantic lit up stages, luxurious props and costumes and energetic performances are all great stuff to write home about. Good job👌🏼💪🏽💯.

My humble appeal to the young and aspiring musicians that would love to venture into music,
May you kindly invest time in your works, invest more in the music than fashion, work on your vocals, pay the producers and song writers, have a sharp ear to the tunes before you release them to the Public/Listeners. When all that is sorted out, then you can pull off all kinds of fashion and styles statements that there is on this planet. You are not measured by your fashion sense on stage but rather the vocals .
Yes, appearance in show biz is also good but prioritise on the music. Let fashion be secondary.

The times have since changed. Ugandans have mastered the art of great music and sounds. That is why every after a show, majority of them complain about the service and craft rendered by some Artists in terms of live vocal abilities.

Please make good use of great artists that have been on scene for some time. I assume they can be good mentors in terms of advice and vocal training abilities . They can advise on the different music genres that one can be good at .

The likes of















Etc etc. ….. are great humans that are willing to help. Make good use of them, draw them closer, do not look at them as your competition but rather mentors .

Live music that is not appealing to the ear is so annoying, it literally tastes like food without a single pinch of salt!!
Personally, when I listen to bad music I get so angry, agitated and sad. Nyiiza nokukaaba, it is that bad🙌🏽.

All in all,
I commend all the stake holders in the entertainment industry that have persisted . Banange sibyangu, Mwebale nnyo.
