April Sullivan, PT, DPT, Kresser Institute ADAPT Practitioner, Certified Emotion Code Practitioner

Hello! I came to Abilene in 1998 to attend Hardin-Simmons University and obtained my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2004. I thought I would leave Abilene the minute I graduated PT school but God had other (and BETTER) plans.
I became a member of Beltway Park Church in 2005 and the Freedom Courses have changed my life. I am so thankful for my wonderful church community. I am married and have three amazing children. God called my husband Shawn and I to open Rest Wellness Center in 2018 and it was been a wild adventure. I deeply love my calling in the world of holistic health as a functional medicine practitioner. Helping people realize abundant health is one of my greatest joys in life.
I also love cooking, learning, pickleball and family time.

Christin Turner, Third Year Student serving Revival Group Pastor in First Year Environment, Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry

Christin has been married to an absolute stud, Adam Turner for 20 years. She and Adam have two amazing teenage sons, Luke (18) and Titus (14).
Christin was born and raised in Abilene, TX and grew up in a Christian home. She attended Biola University (B.A.) and then Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M).
At an early age, Christin often heard from Holy Spirit but didn't always recognize His voice or believe He would actually be calling her to do something amazing and wonderful in people's lives across the world. Nearly 20 years after attending seminary, Christin felt a call from God to attend the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) located in Redding, CA in order to more fully experience the power and presence of God.

Shelli Presley, Director of Spiritual Formation at Hardin Simmons University, Executive Director of Leadership International, and a Business Leadership Coach

Shelli Presley is the wife of Erik Presley. They have five sons and a daughter in love to be next summer. She has a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is the Director of Spiritual Formation at Hardin Simmons University, the Executive Director of Leadership International, and a Business Leadership Coach. She is the co-author of Kingdom Parenting, a parenting curriculum designed to increase connection/intimacy and discipleship in the family unit. She loves equipping the Body of Christ, one on one discipleship and spending time with her family. Her prayer for this weekend is that each of us encounter God and receive the personal touch and blessing He has for each one of us.

Join me, Angel Poorman, on a journey where passion meets purpose and lives are transformed by the grace of God. As someone who has answered the call of God by His grace, I have had the privilege to taste and see the goodness of God by serving the Lord and fostering positive change by sharing the love of Jesus Christ. I've seen firsthand the incredible eternal impact Christ has imparted to us as we lay our lives down for His service and follow the leading of Jesus Christ.
The call of the mission began alongside my high school sweetheart, Norman Poorman, thirty years ago, and a mission training center was birthed through a radical encounter by the Lord that was profoundly connected to a piece of history in 2007—a 1,000-acre ranch in South Abilene, Texas, once part of Camp Barkeley, a pivotal military training camp during WWII. This land now serves as an Apostolic Resource Center, Camp Barkeley Training and Equipping Center (CBTEC), a beacon of education, retreat, and a Global House of Prayer.
Driven by a calling that transcends borders, we founded the United Rescue Alliance (URA), a global nonprofit dedicated to spreading hope, peace, and love through innovative solutions in crisis and disaster relief. Our commitment to building alliances and fostering international collaboration has led to significant contributions in humanitarian aid and disaster response by building resilient communities through preparedness. We have served in nations such as Guatemala, Belize, Bahamas, Indonesia, Israel, Mozambique, and Puerto Rico territory.
Our vision extends through social enterprise endeavors, including Children's Dentistry of Abilene, Abilene Asphalt, and TheOne Kafè, reflecting our holistic approach to social solutions and discipleship. Through these platforms, we've been blessed to mentor, consult, and share wisdom globally, emphasizing a neighbor-to-neighbor approach before extending our reach from nation to nation.
Now, I invite you, women of faith and enthusiasm, to join us in this extraordinary mission. Let's come together to be set on fire for the Lord, carrying His heart, fire, passion, and love to every corner of the globe. Discover the joy and fulfillment in serving, learning, and growing.

Sarah Turner, Online Campus Pastor, Beltway Park Church

I was born and raised in Abilene by parents who raised me in a loving home. I’m the oldest of 3 girls, and it’s my firm belief that sisters make the best friends. I started attending Beltway in 1998 when I was in 5th grade. Our family felt right at home and have been at Beltway ever since. As a 6th grader, I went on my first mission trip to Mexico and it changed my life. From then on, I have had a heart for missions and outreach, desiring to see more and more people experience the love and freedom of our Savior.
While attending Hardin-Simmons University and pursuing a degree in Communication, I married my high school sweetheart, Geoffrey Turner. We have 2 beautiful daughters: Berkley Grace (13) and Ellie Katherine (10). It is my joy to see them grow into who God made them to be! We love to spend time with family and friends, cook, travel, play games and take Copper (our golden doodle) and Cash (our mini golden doodle) on walks in our neighborhood! Personally, I enjoy reading, a good DIY project andall things floral and design. I simply love to create! I also have a particular fondness for Sonic Diet Coke’s with Vanilla (maybe a bit too much).
Over the years, I have enjoyed serving in children, youth, college, and women’s ministry. In 2022, I came back on Staff at Beltway as the Online Campus Pastor, and I absolutely love what I get to do! It’s so exciting to partner with the Lord to leverage technology as a tool to advance the Kingdom of God and help more people take their next steps in their walk with Jesus! To further this goal, I am also pursuing a master's degree in religious studies with the intention of strengthening my foundation in biblical and theological studies while preparing me for strategic ministry in both the local church and the marketplace in an ever-changing world. My hope is that the impact of what I learn in this program will extend beyond myself, touching the lives of those I lead both now and in the future.

Jessica Hallgren, Women’s Groups Pastor, Beltway Park Church

I have a strong passion and desire to see people walking in the fullness that Jesus paid for on them cross, knowing that no matter where they have been, what they have been through or what they have done, the blood of Jesus is enough for them.
It is my desire to see women pushing through barriers that have held them back for years, walking out their destiny with the Lord in the freedom Christ paid for them. Living the surrendered life in deep connection to the Father. I love to see Kingdom families rise up with the generations breaking the mold, bringing the Kingdom of Heaven to earth.
I have been gifted with my husband, Franz, of 17 years and our two precious daughters Ruby (14) and Layla (12). I have worked at Beltway Park Church since August 2014 and have loved watching the hand of the Lord move in people’s hearts and lives through all the different ministries and moves of the Spirit in our church body. We are so blessed!
I am full of anticipation for Released 2024 and all the surprises Holy Spirit has in store for every life there as we submit ourselves to Him, longing for deep connection in the secret place and watching our lives be transformed from glory to glory until the coming of the King!

Shanna Jones, Partner Relations Career Specialist at Workforce Solutions and Events and Outreach Coordinator for Houses for Healing

My name is Shanna Jones and I am a delivered daughter of the King, mother of 3, and Lolli of 2. I’ve been a member of Beltway Park since 2016, serving in various ministries over the years. I was saved in 1994 but did not completely surrender my life to Christ until 2015. I am a Partner Relations Career Specialist at Workforce Solutions and the Events and Outreach Coordinator for Houses for Healing, in both roles I am able to serve our community and share Christ’s heart. I am currently in a season of saying “yes” to where the Lord is calling me. I have been asked to lead an Inspire Session and share how the Lord has moved and continues to move in and through my life in the area of Breaking Free from Strongholds and Addictions. I am excited to partner with Jesus in this “yes” and am honored to serve you all this year at Released.

Sherrie Saltzgaber, Prayer and Freedom Ministries Pastor, Beltway Park Church

I was born in a small town in upstate New York, married my husband in 1981 and we have spent an incredible 43 years building a life and covenant in Christ. We pursued a military life, while raising four amazing Children that have now made us proud Grandparents of 13 Grandchildren. We turn a corner this year as we are so excited to become Great Grandparents in May!
We moved to Texas in 1989 and quickly realized this was our home! We have been Beltway Family ever since. I was very involved in multiple ministries and service throughout the 35 years, from everything children’s, to cooking, library (yes, we had one in the day) and teaching until I landed as an Associate Pastor in Freedom Ministry in 2003. It has been such a blessing to serve and assist the Family of God in obtaining their Freedom and Identity in Christ.
If you ask me what makes my heart come alive and is the passion of my life, that would be my growing relationship with Jesus and all the aspects of worship, intimacy and encountering Him in the deep places of my own heart! Getting to know God through His ways, His word and His Presence is what I will spend the rest of my life enjoying to the very core of me.
I also am very passionate about my family, spending time with family and dear Friends is what fills my life with joy. Using the gifts of God in my life to first serve my family has been some of the most fruitful and beautiful expressions of Gods faithfulness and power to restore all that the enemy has tried to steal and destroy in my bloodline. As wonderful as it is to see and experience the power and love of God displayed through ministry to the Body of Christ, I am deeply grateful for Gods mighty work in my own life and that of my family! What a good, good Father!
In general, if you want to find me in my happy place, you just might need to strap on a pair of hiking boots, with Bible and worship in hand as well as a couple furry four legged friends and meet me in the great outdoors in my very own private Eden’s Gate prayer garden! I love all things land, all things nature, all things animal and all things Jesus and that is a great combination in my book of life this side of Heaven.
I have a deep desire to equip and train the Body of Christ to be those who do not shrink back in the face of the enemies opposition but will rise to live out the purposes of God through faithful obedience and surrender to the Word and Spirit of the Living God, Jesus! I have been honored and overwhelmed by the grace of God to partner with Him in writing and publishing two books: JT’s Ups with Downs ( children’s book) and You Shall Decree, Commanding your Crisis into Alignment with the Word of God Through Prayer.
