𝗜𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝟳𝟱𝟲 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟯𝟵𝟳 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱.
This summer has really put a dent into our food inventory.

Willow Grove Baptist Food Pantry is currently distributing food and groceries to area families in need 3 days a week: Thurs (6-7:30); Sat (11-1); Mon (11-1). 𝗜𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁.

Over the summer our Willow Grove Baptist Food Pantry continued to help over 180 families in need in our community each week during our pantry hours: Mondays 11:00-1:00; Thursdays 6:00-7:30 and Saturdays 11:00-1:00. However, donations to our pantry during the summer months did not keep up with the amount of food given out. We need your help to help restock our shelves and continue to help families struggling to make ends meet in our area.

Willow Grove Baptist Food Pantry is low on cereal this week. Our pantry helps over 180 families in need in our community each week. Each family receives a box of cereal when they come to our pantry. That means we give out over 180 boxes of cereal each week! It has been difficult for our pantry during the summer months to keep up with the number of boxes that we give out.

Cereal Donations can be dropped off 24/7 in our donation boxes located at the end of the church driveway on the left at 3600 Welsh Road - Willow Grove PA 19090.

Willow Grove Baptist Food Pantry would like to say a large thank you to Warminster Grocery Outlet for the $1,000 that they donated to our pantry to help area community families in need. We are so blessed by the partnership that we have with this fine store helping so many area families.

At their 5 Year Anniversary Celebration yesterday, Warminster Grocery Outlet also donated $1,000 to four other wonderful non-profit groups in the area who also serve families struggling to make ends meet including Hatboro Community Cupboard, Sprinkle Hope, HATPacks, and Lehman UMC Food Pantry.

A big thank you to the store owners, John and Jamie Niedrist, for their generosity in helping so many in our community.

You can make a real difference and help those in need in our community! Willow Grove Baptist Food Pantry is looking for volunteers to shelve items, pack bags, and help families in need that come to our pantry. We are currently assisting over 180 families each week.

Volunteer slots are available Mondays and Saturdays: 10:30-1:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

It's easy to sign-up to volunteer! Just use the links below and pick the dates and times that work for you. Volunteers must be 12 or over. Volunteers ages 12-15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Our Willow Grove Baptist Food Pantry gives out over 360 rolls of toilet paper to 180 families in need each week. It is very difficult for our pantry to get this large amount of toilet paper needed at our pantry.

This past week I was able to purchase the 360 rolls of toilet paper at Sam's Club due to the generosity of Willow Charitable Fund who recently donated $1,000 to help our pantry to meet pantry shortages during the summer months.

Come to the Ribbon Cutting & Donation Ceremony at 10:00 a.m. to celebrate the store adding 2000+ square feet of space to have more great deals for their shoppers.

Warminster Grocery Outlet locally owned and operated by John and Jamie Niedrist have been wonderful supporters of our Willow Grove Baptist Food Pantry through the years with their Independence from Hunger Food Drive in July and other donations to our pantry throughout the year. These groups made a delivery to our pantry with an emergency vehicle full of food and paper products that will bless the over 180 families in need in our community that come to our pantry each week.

Our Federal SNAP Program (a/k/a Food Stamps) helps families in need to purchase some of the food that they need to get through the month. But, did you know that there are many grocery items that you can’t buy with SNAP?

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗡𝗔𝗣: Baby Products (Diapers, Baby Wipes, Diaper Rash Cream, etc.) Paper products (Toilet paper, Paper Towels, Tissues); Cleaning supplies (Laundry detergent, Dish washing liquid, Clorox wipes, Toilet Cleaner, Spray Cleaners, etc.); Personal Hygiene items (Bar Soap, Liquid soap, hand sanitizer, shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, etc.).

Please help Willow Grove Baptist Food Pantry to 𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗔𝗣𝗦 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 this Saturday by coming out to our food drive and providing some of these much needed items. 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟮𝟰/𝟳 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝘅 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀. Please do not put frozen or items needing refrigeration in our donation boxes.

(all hygiene items are large need especially soap & toothpaste).
Baby items: Diapers (all sizes); Baby wipes (large need)
Paper products: Toilet paper, paper towels, tissues (all large need)
Cleaning supplies: Laundry detergent & dishwashing soap (large need); Clorox wipes, Toilet cleaner, Spray cleaners

Thank you so much to Grocery Outlet and all of their shoppers there for their donations as part of the Independence from Hunger Food Drive during the month of July. Thank you for your generosity to help our pantry and other pantries make ends meet during our difficult summer months when donations tend to decrease.

It is a wonderful program where shoppers can contribute $5 to fill a bag with food for a local pantry and in return the shopper receives a $5 off coupon. Please support this wonderful program and the Grocery Outlet in Warminster that does so much to reach out and support those in need in our community.

If you haven't been to the Grocery Outlet in Warminster (located at 1023 West County Line Road) you are really missing out! They have great deals!

If possible, could you please support this GoFundMe for a new wheelchair for Dave Driscoll. When my sons played UMHoops and Upper Moreland Little League, Dave was a wonderful leader in both organizations and was truly dedicated to making these organizations in Upper Moreland great for our kids. Dave did everything with a smile on his face and always had great stories to share. He truly made Upper Moreland a better place to live!

The Driscolls are a great family that are going through some difficult times! What a blessing this wheel chair would be! Please consider donating any amount that you can to help Dave who helped so many.

Willow Grove Baptist Food Pantry and Hatboro Community Cupboard are so excited to be partners with Grocery Outlet (located at 1023 County Line Road in Warminster) in their Independence from Hunger Food Drive which begins today and runs through the end of July. When you buy a pre-packed bag of food for $5 you will receive $5 coupon to be used at Grocery Outlet. Our pantries then receive the $5 bag of food which helps us so much during the summer months when our donations tend to dwindle.

The Fruit Ninjas (who worked with students in the STRIVE Program which is a transition program for students ages 18-21 with complex needs) encouraged their fellow students to donate produce received in the free school breakfasts to our Willow Grove Baptist Food Pantry. They promoted the program and set up bins in the school cafeteria. The students then collected the produce, weighed it, and bagged it for our pantry.

This school year this program collected 4,605 pounds of fresh produce that went to our pantry to help feed families in need in our community that come to our pantry. Thanks for doing such a great job to help so many!!
