This is my kind of bathroom! It’s dark, moody and masculine. Sorry ladies. No flowers this time. This seems ideal for a loft space / warehouse conversion. Great space by Rex
Love this bathroom. Great use of space, shapes and contrast.
Boxing fans..what do you think of this boxing glove lounge chair by Sede
Great sleek and simple grey (Off-black) and white bathroom photo.
Off-Black, one of our original shades and a well loved classic, works beautifully in this contemporary bathroom. We particularly love how the ceiling, as well as the walls, has been finished in this soft black to create a cave-like feel! 📷 by

When it comes to overall design think “repurpose!”
I hate to admit this, but my Dad may have been on to something when he repurposed old furniture and TV cabinets as tables, shelving and/or benches. I’m still not sure about the other things he recycles, like the old sneakers that he cuts off the fronts (i.e. the toe area) and uses as flip-flops, but we’ll give Dad a pass on that one…
As it comes to a redesign, a lot of times clients want to buy new furniture and décor to get a fresh look, but before you go out and spend your hard earned cash, search your own home for hidden gems. Repurpose a sofa, chairs, table and art to create a new look. Sometimes the best pieces of furniture or decor come from other rooms in your home. Don’t forget about artwork stored in the garage, storage unit or buried in your closet or den. Make the most of your existing furniture and decor before buying new.
Tips for small bathrooms & powder rooms.
Small spaces, like powder rooms and hallway bathrooms are an opportunity to create something special (e.g. jewel box). Since these areas are relatively small, we can scale-up the tile, fixtures and accents to create a “wow factor” without breaking the bank. For example, if the powder room is in a “man cave” consider a dark tile (e.g. dark gray or even black) to get a sleek modern look, and then accent the décor with a touch of silver or gold. If your style is more eclectic, maybe use a mosaic tile to create a feature wall; and then use a basket weave pattern with a border on the floor. You should really try to “punch-up” the style in small rooms by splurging on the right tile and accents. You can use less expensive materials on the other surfaces to balance the budget. If you’re working with a tight budget, use paint (instead of tile) to achieve a similar look without the additional cost. Keep in mind, the powder room or hall bathroom are the rooms most frequently used by your guests. Let’s grab their attention with some “eye popping” style.
The design tip of the day:
For a kitchen remodel think function first!
I always think about function and flow, first, when I create a kitchen design. You want to make sure you have a functional and efficient work space (i.e. work triangle) not just a pretty and glamorous one. All the glitz and glam won’t help when you’re bumping your head on the vent hood above the stove or when you can’t extend the oven door because it hits the dishwasher. Layout your design by placing the large items first (e.g. refrigerator, stove, sink, etc.) then fill in with the cabinet placement and smaller accessories such as the microwave, built-in coffee makers, etc. For you “big ballers”, don’t forget the wine refrigerator, armoire, and walk-in pantry.
