The Daring Greatly Award is given to the person who dares to show up and be seen and put it all on the line regardless of outcome or guarantee. This person best embodies the values of Arcadia swimming. This year, Maggie and Tyler’s teammates awarded this honor to each of them for their tremendous effort and dedication to the team.

MOST IMPROVED: Among many deserving candidates, Adam Smith and Rylie Pellegrino stood out to win the 2024 MISOY awards !!!!!! ⚔️🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️⚔️

Adversity makes the comeback sweeter. 

Grace Brooks, a rising senior on the Arcadia swim team, was unable to compete at last year’s MAC Championships due to a shoulder injury. This did not stop her commitment to the team as her determination to return to swimming was unwaivering. For the entirety of the 2021-22 season she jumped in the water each day and kicked with a smile and a strong sense of hope to be able to compete again.

Grace came back this season even stronger and finished up the 2022-23 season competing in a total of 10 MAC Championship swims. This includes a first place finish in the 200 Backstroke, proving once you choose hope anything is possible!
