04/05/2024 - The Khatmul-Quran Tarawih prayer will start from Al-Inshiqaq

By the ˹passage of˺ time! Surely humanity is in ˹grave˺ loss, except those who have faith, do good, and urge each other to the truth, and urge each other to perseverance. (Al-Asr)

Say, ˹O Prophet, ˺ “He is Allah—One ˹and Indivisible˺; Allah—the Sustainer ˹needed by all˺. He has never had offspring, nor was He born. And there is none comparable to Him.” (Al-Ikhlas)

04/04/2024 - The Quran recitation in Tarawih prayers will start from Al-Mulk.

And We have certainly made the Quran easy to remember. So is there anyone who will be mindful? (Al-Qamar:22)

And indeed, you (Prophet) are of a great moral character. (Al-Qalam:6)

And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous. (Al-Ĥāqqah:48)

"My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction." (Nūĥ:28)

˹pray˺ half the night, or a little less, or a little more—and recite the Qur'an in slow, measured rhythmic tones. (Muzzammil:3-4)

04/03/2024 - The Quran recitation in Tarawih prayers will start from Al-Hadid

He is Allah—there is no god except Him: The King, the Most Holy, the All-Perfect, the Source of Serenity, the Watcher ˹of all˺, the Almighty, the Supreme in Might, the Majestic. Glorified is Allah far above what they associate with Him ˹in worship˺! (Al-Hashr:23)

O believers! When the call to prayer is made on Friday, then proceed ˹diligently˺ to the remembrance of Allah and leave off ˹your˺ business. That is best for you, if only you knew. Once the prayer is over, disperse throughout the land and seek the bounty of Allah. And remember Allah often so you may be successful. (Al-Jumu'ah:9-10)

04/02/2024 - The Quran recitation in Tarawih prayers will start from Al-Fatĥ

"It is He who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the believers that they would increase in faith along with their [present] faith. And to Allah belong the soldiers of the heavens and the earth, and ever is Allah Knowing and Wise." (Al-Fath:4)

"O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers." O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful." (Al-Hujurat: 12-13)

04/01/2024 - The Quran recitation in Tarawih prayers will start from Az-Zukhruf

We have commanded people to honor their parents. Their mothers bore them in hardship and delivered them in hardship. Their ˹period of˺ bearing and weaning is thirty months. In time, when the child reaches their prime at the age of forty, they pray, “My Lord! Inspire me to ˹always˺ be thankful for Your favors which You blessed me and my parents with, and to do good deeds that please You. And instil righteousness in my offspring. I truly repent to You, and I truly submit ˹to Your Will˺.” (Al-Ahqaf:15)

"O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet."(Muhammad:7)

03/31/2024 - The Quran recitation in Tarawih prayers will start from Az-Zumar:68

'He placed on the earth firm mountains, standing high, showered His blessings upon it, and ordained ˹all˺ its means of sustenance—totaling four Days exactly—for all who ask. Then He turned towards the heaven when it was ˹still like˺ smoke, saying to it and to the earth, ‘Submit, willingly or unwillingly.’ They both responded, ‘We submit willingly.’ So He formed the heaven into seven heavens in two Days, assigning to each its mandate. And We adorned the lowest heaven with ˹stars like˺ lamps ˹for beauty˺ and for protection. That is the design of the Almighty, All-Knowing.” ' (Al-Fussilat:10-12)

'˹Say to the believers, O Prophet, ˺ “Whatever you may differ about, its judgment rests with Allah. That is Allah—my Lord. In Him I put my trust, and to Him I ˹always˺ turn.” ' (Ash-Shuraa:10)

03/30/2024 - The Quran recitation in Tarawih prayers will start from Yasin:22

It is not allowable for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, but each, in an orbit, is swimming. And a sign for them is that We carried their forefathers in a laden ship. (Ya-Sin:40-41)

He created you ˹all˺ from a single soul, then from it He made its mate. And He produced for you four pairs of cattle. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers ˹in stages˺, one development after another, in three layers of darkness. That is Allah—your Lord! All authority belongs to Him. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him. How can you then be turned away? (Az-Zumar:6)

When one is touched with hardship, they cry out to their Lord, turning to Him ˹alone˺. But as soon as He showers them with blessings from Him, they ˹totally˺ forget the One they had cried to earlier, and set up equals to Allah to mislead ˹others˺ from His Way. (Az-Zumar:8)

03/29/2024 - The Quran recitation in Tarawih prayers will start from Al-Ahzab

Indeed, Allah showers His blessings upon the Prophet, and His angels pray for him. O believers! Invoke Allah’s blessings upon him, and salute him with worthy greetings of peace..(Al-Ahzab:56)

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Surely ˹it is˺ my Lord ˹Who˺ gives abundant or limited provisions to whoever He wills. But most people do not know.” It is not your wealth or children that bring you closer to Us. But those who believe and do good—it is they who will have a multiplied reward for what they did, and they will be secure in ˹elevated˺ mansions. (As-Saba:36-37)

It is not for the sun to catch up with the moon,1 nor does the night outrun the day. Each is travelling in an orbit of their own. (Yasin:40)

03/28/2024 - The Quran recitation in Tarawih prayers will start from Al-Qasas:71

This worldly life is no more than play and amusement. But the Hereafter is indeed the real life, if only they knew. (Al-'Ankabut:64)

We have certainly set forth every ˹kind of˺ lesson for people in this Quran. (Ar-Rum:58)

˹Luqmân added,˺ “O my dear son! ˹Even˺ if a deed were the weight of a mustard seed—be it ˹hidden˺ in a rock or in the heavens or the earth—Allah will bring it forth. Surely Allah is Most Subtle, All-Aware. “O my dear son! Establish prayer, encourage what is good and forbid what is evil, and endure patiently whatever befalls you. Surely this is a resolve to aspire to. “And do not turn your nose up to people, nor walk pridefully upon the earth. Surely Allah does not like whoever is arrogant, boastful. (Luqman:17-19)

03/27/2024 - The Quran recitation in Tarawih prayers will start from Al-Shu'ara:69

And when they came across a valley of ants, an ant warned, “O ants! Go quickly into your homes so Solomon and his armies do not crush you, unknowingly.” So Solomon smiled in amusement at her words, and prayed, “My Lord! Inspire me to ˹always˺ be thankful for Your favors which You have blessed me and my parents with, and to do good deeds that please you. Admit me, by Your mercy, into ˹the company of˺ Your righteous servants.” (An-Naml:18-19)

Whatever ˹pleasure˺ you have been given is no more than ˹a fleeting˺ enjoyment and adornment of this worldly life. But what is with Allah is far better and more lasting. Will you not then understand? - (Al-Qasas:60)

03/26/2024 - The Quran recitation in Tarawih prayers will start from Al-Mu'minun:75

O believers! Do not enter any house other than your own until you have asked for permission and greeted its occupants. This is best for you, so perhaps you will be mindful. (An-Nur:27)

˹O Prophet!˺ Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. That is purer for them. Surely Allah is All-Aware of what they do. (An-Nur:30)

The ˹true˺ servants of the Most Compassionate are those who walk on the earth humbly, and when the foolish address them ˹improperly˺, they only respond with peace. ˹They are˺ those who spend ˹a good portion of˺ the night, prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord. (Al-Furqan:63-64)

03/25/2024 - The Quran recitation in Tarawih prayers will start from Al-Anbiya:25

Surely this ˹Quran˺ is sufficient ˹as a reminder˺ for those devoted to worship. We have sent you ˹O Prophet˺ only as a mercy for the whole world. (Al-'Anbiya':106-107)

Successful indeed are the believers: those who humble themselves in prayer; those who avoid idle talk; those who pay alms-tax; those who guard their chastity except with their wives or those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession, for then they are free from blame, (Al-Mu'minun:1-6)

03/24/2024 - The Quran recitation in Tarawih prayers will start from Al-Kahf:83

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “If the ocean were ink for ˹writing˺ the Words of my Lord, it would certainly run out before the Words of my Lord were finished, even if We refilled it with its equal.” (Al-Kahf:109)

Yet ˹some˺ people ask ˹mockingly˺, “After I die, will I really be raised to life again?” Do ˹such˺ people not remember that We created them before, when they were nothing? (Maryam:66-67)

Exalted is Allah, the True King! Do not rush to recite ˹a revelation of˺ the Quran ˹O Prophet˺ before it is ˹properly˺ conveyed to you, and pray, “My Lord! Increase me in knowledge.” (Taha:114)

03/22/2024 - The Quran recitation in Tarawih prayers will start from An-Nahl:80

Indeed, Allah commands justice, grace, as well as generosity to close relatives. He forbids indecency, wickedness, and aggression. He instructs you so perhaps you will be mindful. (An-Nahl:90)

For your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And honor your parents. If one or both of them reach old age in your care, never say to them ˹even˺ ‘ugh,’ nor yell at them. Rather, address them respectfully. And be humble with them out of mercy, and pray, “My Lord! Be merciful to them as they raised me when I was young.” - (Al-Isra:23-24)

Wealth and children are [but] adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for [one's] hope. (Al-Kahf:46)

03/21/2024 - The Quran recitation in Tarawih prayers will start from Ar-Rad:35

"And Satan will say when the matter has been concluded, "Indeed, Allah had promised you the promise of truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; but blame yourselves. I cannot be called to your aid, nor can you be called to my aid. Indeed, I deny your association of me [with Allah ] before. Indeed, for the wrongdoers is a painful punishment." ('Ibrahim:22)

"And Allah has favored some of you over others in provision. But those who were favored would not hand over their provision to those whom their right hands possess so they would be equal to them therein. Then is it the favor of Allah they reject?" (Al-Nahl:71)

"There was certainly in their stories a lesson for those of understanding. Never was the Qur'an a narration invented, but a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of all things and guidance and mercy for a people who believe." (Yusuf-111)

"Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. And when Allah intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it. And there is not for them besdes Him any patron." (Ar-Ra'd:11)
