3️⃣ This weekend is also your Last Chance to see the stunning exhibition, Michelangelo Lovelace: Art Saved My Life at the Akron Art Museum. Pair your visit to the museum with a trip to Summit Artspace, where you can see a visually stunning exhibition of works by internationally-renowned artist Kasumi (along with exhibitions from Melih Meric, Steven Mastroianni, Blake Newhem Valenzuela, and much more), or make a stop at Akron Soul Train (Friday and Sunday hours only) for your Last Chance to see Katie Butler: Bread and Butter and Kayla Weinman: Clowning Around.
This weekend, The Nightlight is screening DÌDI, a comedy-drama about an impressionable 13-year-old Taiwanese American boy who learns what his family can't teach him: how to skate, how to flirt, and how to love your mom in the last month of summer before high school begins. UPDATE: I-76 is reopening in both directions from the Central Interchange to the Kenmore Blvd. exit. The exits to Main Street from I-76 will remain closed temporarily as will Main Street from South St. to Thornton Street as crews finish up. Continue to proceed with caution as you travel in the area.
The suspicious item was a barrel and it has been cleared by safety crews and is not a threat.
