I am happy to inform you that India Sunday School will be starting online classes on Sunday, September12, 2021. As you already know India Sunday School was started in 1981 to teach Hindi and Indian culture to young children, and it continues to provide an excellent opportunity for your child to continue learning Hindi. Please note that besides Hindi, India Sunday school offers classes in culture of India, vocal Music, and playing Tabla, an Indian musical instrument. It offers classes to children ages 5 to 18 years old .
If you or your child is interested in finding more about the opportunities at India Sunday School, please send me an e-mail with your child’s name and age or call. I am sending a copy of this e-mail to Mr. Vaidhy Iyer (Vice President) and Mrs. Anju Gupta (Treasurer) so if you cannot reach me, you have another option.
I am attaching the registration form for Sunday School, so if you are interested, please fill up the form and submit to the address given in the registration form. Also please send an e-mail to me so we can save a spot for your child. You will notice that we have a twin semester program because it helps with continuity of Hindi Learning. Foreign Language credits and/or Seal of Bi-literacy may be available for High School students. Our Hindi program follows Startalk principles, World standards for 5C’s, and ACTFL Guidelines for teaching foreign languages.
You can pass this on to your friends and family also because I have noticed that if the child's friends are in the class with them, they enjoy it more. I am requesting everyone to please respond back to me if you have any questions or looking for additional information. Thank you.
