Back on the "by the glass menu" is one of our all time favorites! 2018 Blue Dog Cabernet Sauvignon from Adobe Rod Winery. It is a blends of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Sonoma and Napa. "...with loads of fresh blackberries, black plums, and warm strawberry compote. Silky tannins frame the anise and ripe fig complexities on the decadently layered palate, with a black pepper spice on the long finish." Order it by the glass, by the bottle or in a flight.! Petey the Pumpkin came from Grandpa's Fruit Stand in Scio at the weight of 75 pounds, 8 ounces!

I would like to introduce Petey the Pumpkin. He grew up in Scio on Grampa's Fresh Market Farm. I met Petey when I was picking up the Butternut Squash for our seasonal pizza. While I was there, he spoke to me to take him home. He says that he is related to the "Great Pumpkin" of Peanuts fame. But, really, how much can you trust a talking pumpkin from Scio?
